geebsOkay, I haven't watched OTH in a while because there's a bunch of other stuff on at 8pm, namely Chuck, House, and HIMYM, but since those are all repeats or pre-empted because of the Olympics. So watching tonight was kinda jarring. Wait, Mouth's courting Lauren now?! What the hell happened to Millie and Skills? And the Taylor matriarch is dying? Hasn't the mom dying of cancer thing been done already on other CW shows. Wait, even on this show! Didn't Peyton's adoptive mom and birth mom both die of cancer?! And she just said 2 out of 3 ain't bad on having Haley and Quinn there, weren't there four Taylor girls?! Or did they retcon that so they didn't have to pay another actress?
And wait, Julian slept with Alex? Or is Brooke just assuming they did and Alex is effin with her? What about Quinn and Clay, are they still a thing? Who's this tennis chick who looks exactly like his dead wife?!
Oh, okay, after watching the rest of this ep, so Alex slept with that new dude Victoria hired, not Julian, who she was apparently seeing as well? And wait, the dude's name is Alexander? So they're both Alexes? That's kinda twisted.
So the girls' mom dies, but not before the girls reconcile. So Taylor's acting out was because she was secretly jealous of her sisters and thought her mom was disappointed she wasn't great as them? But her mom tells her she's the most like her when she was younger, and if she found her way, then Taylor will too.
But what's with the old song choices in the end?! Stevie Nicks' "Landslide" and "I Shall Believe" by Sheryl Crow. And what the hell, Mouth and Lauren are going through with their affair. Oh, that's where Skills has been, I forgot he was playing basketball. And so tennis girl found out she looks like Clay's wife, so she's dying her hair to look like her so she could get in with him?!
And Alex is all sad about how she'll never get Julian, and Alexander ditched her for Victoria, so she sleeps with that douche-y actor guy, who turns on his webcam, so I'm guessing there'll be a sex tape scandal?

clevemire informed me one could record stuff with VLC. Interesting, I was unaware of that feature. So with that and having 4x the amount of hard drive space I used to have, I've started fully taking advantage of that, if you know what I mean, and I think you do! Quite useful for just getting the "good stuff".
