Gossip Girl- So we finally meet Vanessa's mom, who's played by Zoe from Firefly. Wait, Vanessa is mixed?! And what's with her parents disapproving of college because they don't approve of "knowledge being kept from the masses"? So their answer is for their daughter not to get an education because other poor people can't afford educations? That's retarded! Carter is retarded. So, he actually wants to work on that oil rig to "settle his own debts"? As Nate was telling Serena, he doesn't think he's actually going to be working on an oil rig until he's paid off his debt? Because I think they care more about him breaking the one girl's heart rather than cheating them out of their money. They prolly just want to take him to the gulf coast so they can dispose of him. Owel, seeya Carter!
And wait, so Chuck has kissed guys before? Well, he is kinda flaming. But wait, so he's mad that Blair manipulated him, but had she just asked him to whore himself out, that woulda made it okay?!
But interesting end with Blair and Vanessa hanging out together. I hear in the books they actually were roommates for a while. A friendship between them would be interesting. And make it more likely for Dair to happen!
One Tree Hill- Is it me, or is Smash's gf hot? Or since that's kinda a dated reference, UCLA chick that was interested in Turtle? I'm kinda amused that Chase was all, "She's kinda like you were in high school!" to Brooke so Brooke flips out because she remembers what a whore she kinda was in high school and therefore knows Alex's after her man. And if Haley's sister is gonna be regular, they need to give her something more to do than prattle on and on about how she fell out of love with her ex-husband. The way they were filming that one blond who started talking to Clay (who the hell is she, did they even mention her name?), I was hoping she'd end up being like a figment of his imagination. Well, I guess they haven't shown her interact with anyone else yet, but like I said, the feel of their scenes does seem very Sixth Sense-ish. Perhaps his reference to going off the rails has to do with her dying?
