TV Commentary:
HIMYM- Okay, so last week Barney and Robin are in a relationship but were fooling themselves into thinking they were just pretending to be in one to placate Lily. But now Robin is acting all mad that Barney and Marshall went to a strip club? And Barney accepts he's in hot water? When did they jump into this stage of their relationship?
House- Seriously, what is up with the hospital? So a clearly crazy guy in a hospital gown is running around being crazy, and all the doctors and nurses just stand there in shock until the team bumps into him?! I know he's there patient, but they're not the only medical professionals in the place! I would think if you work in a hospital and an obviously distressed patient is running around, you're supposed to do something about it.
But so, with House and Taub quitting, and Hadley getting fired (well, it was already iffy them dating as coworkers in the job they're in, but now that he would be her boss, that's totally unprofessional), the whole diagnostics department is just Foreman now? Are they finally moving to getting the old team back together? But why?
Gossip Girl- You know, after OTH ends and they have the "stay tuned for Gossip Girl" bit, it always weirds me out when Ed Westwick does it because of the British accent. Well, I guess it always weird me out when English dudes who play Americans speak in their native accent in stuff off the show. Though for English chyx, I just think "HOTT!" Though Anna Friel weirds me out in that she talks like an English soccer hooligan. (And hey, both of their characters are named "Chuck")
Argh, so that Scott dude chickens out and sticks with his adoptive parents story that he's only the brother of Rufus and Lily's son and not their actual son? But wait, did I miss something, why, upon hearing Scott's real last name, Vanessa's all, "Oh, Rufus and Lily's secret child!" while Dan, thinks, "Oh, that guy who wrote me that fan letter!" So Dan thinks he's a stalker, but I'm just confused as to how Vanessa knows Rufus and Lily's love child's adoptive last name and Dan doesn't!
But he's gone now, though Georgina's followed him. For what, I don't know, since I can't see what she can scheme out of that. But apparently Bree knows Carter, who did something nefarious to her family in the past? I shouldn't be surprised, I forget this show will have characters on totally different storylines, and then we later find out there's this connection between the guest stars of those storylines.
OTH- I'm still finding the Dan/Rachel part of the show weird, since they don't seem to be interacting with the rest of the cast. Its like, they have the normal Tree Hill stuff, and then they'll cut to Dan and Rachel doing his self-help show who knows where. Prolly not in Tree Hill, else the fur would fly. That, I can't wait to see. I mean, Rachel went to school with his sons. I think people might flip out over that more than the whole murdering his brother thing. But yeah, that would totally freak the characters out if they came into town.
