Are they just releasing new Glee stuff every week before it premieres? Because last week they released the full version of Lea Michele's rendition of "On My Own" from "the seminal Broadway classic 'Les Miserables'" (as seen in the pilot). Now this week, they have the full version of their rendition of Kanye West's "Gold Digger" (which was briefly seen in the preview for the upcoming season). Ooh, if they're releasing full versions of the songs we've only seen them do briefly in the pilot or previews, does that mean their version of Queen's "Somebody to Love" will be coming out soon? That would be totally awesome. Of course, the word is they're releasing a soundtrack CD this November. Ah can't wait!

TV commentary:

10 Things I Hate About You- Pretty good ep tonight, but that ending? Argh! So Kat and Patrick actually have a good time. Until Patrick is innocently using the bathroom, and his druggie ex-friend is there smoking a joint and security busts in and things he's involved in the drug use. But Kat doesn't see this, so she thinks Patrick just abandoned her at the dance.

And then Cameron takes Bianca to the dance, and its close to being that first date Cameron says Bianca should have. But then she finds out he let the air out of her original date's tires and stole his phone (why the hell would he take it with him?!!) and she forgets she was actually having a great time and feels Cameron ruined her first ever date. Oh, and I totally forgot she thought he was gay. But if the previews are to be believed, he reveals his feelings to her next week.

Interesting deviation from the movie where Joey is actually being protective of Bianca, and it some random other douche trying to bang her. Of course, they already deviate from the movie in that Kat and Joey have never gone out (unless they come up with something crazy and convoluted), so he's not her "worst enemy" in this.

Ruby and the Rockits- Hmm, from the description of the ep on the program guide, it looks like this week's ep and next week's ep were flipped. I wonder why? Tonight's was supposed to be Jordan trying to determine if Ruby and him are really cousins but looks like that'll be next week instead now. I am curious how they'll handle that. I mean, the show is lame and corny in that 80s/90s sitcoms way, and David Cassidy's character isn't even a terrible father in a funny way, his character is just irredeemably horrible. They play it for laughs, but if you think about it, a lot of the things he does are pretty monstrous. But I digress, on the one hand, it seems like the only thing that seems remotely interesting on the show is that Jordan/Ruby storyline, but at the same time, I don't think you can have an incestuous relationship on a show on ABC Family. I suppose they could find out she isn't really David's daughter, but she's grown so close to them all that they'll want her to stay. But I don't think that's a twist you can break out this early on the show's run.

Warehouse 13- Weird, what's up with Jo and Zane from Eureka guesting and playing a couple on tonight's ep? I guess they're trying to be all clever.
