geebsHeh, Film Drunk totally spoils the twist in the Orphan, which opens today. I actually suspected something like that from one of the really short clips in the commercials, it had to be that way, otherwise it would be rather risque. Like sweet daddy bear levels of distrubing! I was expecting a more supernatural explanation for it, but I guess the mundane simple explanation works as well.
Hmm, so there was a poster for the upcoming Losers at Comic Con. Dunno the guys who're playing Pooch or Cougar, but Human Torch will be Jensen, new Uhura will be Aisha, Comedian/Daddy Winchester will be Clay, and that dude from the Wire and the Office will be Roque (Though Roque didn't look like a black guy in the comix)? Heh, is it me, or does it already seem like this will be a better movie than G.I.Joe? Of course, The Losers had a storyline to go by. G.I.Joe had a bunch of story arcs in the comics (the cartoon is too goofy to make an actual story out of), though nothing that seemed, "They should make that into a movie!" Well, I think they coulda done a story on Snake Eyes, but it seems the upcoming movie is generic military action movie, with characters that look like the Joes and Cobras. Hey, as long as they have Aisha reaping through dozens of guys like wheat and Cougar doing cool sniper stuff, I'll be satisfied.

Torchwood- Ooh, I'm so mad now!! They freakin' killed Ianto! He was my favorite character! Jack better put the hurtin' on those 456ers.
But thinking about it, Ianto worrying about Jack watching him die of old age was a foreshadowing. Like they were worried about how Jack's undyingness means Ianto would be a minor footnote in Jack's infinite (or near infinite, if the Jack being the Face of Boe rumor is true) life that they would end up getting even less time together.
But with him dead, if there is another season, it's practically gonna be a whole new set of people besides Jack and Gwen! Unless Martha Jones transfers from Unit. And its not like Mickey's doing anything anymore.
