TV commentary:

House- The season finale was... interesting. So, the CotW was an alien hand syndrome thing caused by some chemical in the deodorant the guy was using in his small bahtroom? And Chase and Cameron work the whole sperm thing out and get married. But the real meat and potatoes of the ep was about House dealing with the whole sleeping with Cuddy thing. Except, he didn't!! The whole detox thing and sleeping with Cuddy was a hallucination he had, and the reason she was acting weird to him was because of the insult he threw at her right before the whole imagined detox session. Freaky. So Chip CTB once again only disappeared for a little while, and is now joined by Chip Kumar. So while everyone else goes to the wedding, Wilson takes House to rehab or a nuthouse or something.

24- Wow, they easily thwart the attack, and not only that, the guy and his brother are all safe. Ah, it turns out Hodges was killed because Olivia's acquaintance or whatever the hell he is okayed it even though the money hadn't gone through. Alas, I thought it would've been funnier if it was a coincidental assassination from someone else, and she's freaking out for nothing. Well, there'd still be evidence of her hiring an assassin, and had the coincidence thing turned out to be the case, I doubt people would believe she didn't have anything to do with it when there's a trail of her talking to an assassin involved. But looks like Aaron is suspicious.

Heh, Kim's at the airport, and scared of some freaky guy watching her. So she decides to hang out with a friendly looking couple. This being 24 of course, the creepy guy was just an agent Jack had watching Kim, and the couple are working for Tony's gf, so she can force Jack to help spring Tony or else Kim dies.

Gossip Girl- The 80s flashback to young Lily was interesting. And I'm confused, was No Doubt (speaking of, saw a commercial that they'll be in town with Paramore June 5th? Interesting) playing themselves? Like was that them in the 80s before they hit it big in the 90s? So the younger version of Lily's mother is played by Libby from Lost, and her dad is Andrew Mccarthy? And she has a sister named Carol whom we've never met yet, played by Gia from VM, and Dick Casablancas is playing her not-bf? The 80s soundtrack was pretty apt and awesome (but Josh Schwartz shows usually have good soundtracks, if Gossip Girl, the OC, and Chuck are any indication). Overall, I think the spinoff might be interesting. And if the creators were for real when they said it, it would be amusing for young Lily to bump into younger versions of Sandy, Kirsten, Jimmy, and Julie from the OC, since it would take place in California. We don't meet young Rufus, as Lily is with some other dude her mother wouldn't approve of. But we possibly meet Serena and Eric's father. Or someone related to him. Which is kinda weird, given how she hit the guy for screwing over her sister. So finding out she possibly married him and had Serena and Eric with him has interesting implications then about the Lily back then and the Lily now.

Owel, we don't see what happenned with Georgina and Poppy, but besides the 80s flashback, we get prom. And at first you think Chuck is trying to sabotage Blair's prom, but nope, he was ensuring she got the perfect prom with Nate, and doesn't even bother trying to take credit. But Blair realizes everything was a fantasy, so in the end she and Nate break up.

HIMYM- So, when we saw Stella last week, apparently we don't see she's with Tony. So, Stella's obviously not the mother. We get confirmation on that, because Tony thinks Ted looks all sad, so he tries to make it up to him, but then Ted is all "he's over it", which causes Tony to break up with Stella. So Stella begs Ted to fix things, which he does. And we learn that Stella and Tony move to California, and Tony makes a movie that may possibly be autobiographical. Ted also decides to accept a teaching job at Columbia that Tony got him.

So, the two popular theories right now, given SagetTed was all this was the chain of events that led to meeting the mother, are 1) Ted meets her at Columbia or 2) given he was all "more on that later" about the movie, she is possibly movie Stella.

One Tree Hill- Ah, how prosaic. If you didn't expect Peyton to collapse from preggers complications right after the wedding and she and Lucas were back home, you've never watched TV before.
