TV Commentary:

House- What a shocking ep! I mean from the previews last week, they made it sound like something big was happening, I just didn't expect that. I mean, when the ep started and saw that Yvette from Clue/Tackleberry's wife got fat, I was surprised, little did I know I would be in for an even bigger shock when Kutner had committed suicide! I was not expecting that at all, I didn't even hear any chatter on such an event happening beforehand, nor did they even foreshadow it. But given that I'm pretty sure Kutner was the most popular of the new Cottages, I wasn't surprised to see the forums in an uproar.

It was interesting though, to see how the other characters react. Well, most importantly House, and Taub. House, because he's well, House. But I was interested to see Taub, because I would think of all the other characters, Kutner was the one he was closest to, and there was that ep where he said he tried to commit suicide once. Looks like he buried himself in work, and once the CotW was solved, he broke down. As for House, there was the whole, a mystery he can't explain, and the worry that there were signs there he didn't see and he's losing his "gift'. But I want to say he was affected emotionally beyond that.

Like the scene with his parents, yeah, House was kinda an asshole, but he wasn't as angry/condescending when he was blaming them as he usually is. It almost seemed like he was just thinking out loud and all, "Ah, that's the solution, this is why he killed himself, and its your fault!". Because he almost seemed shocked when everyone was staring at him in disbelief and horror, like he didn't realize the impact of what he was saying. I mean, he actually seemed embarassed/felt bad about what he had said.

Chuck- Ah, looks like everything is coming together on Chuck. Ah, so his dad was Orion! Like I said, I had a feeling they were gonna go there. I mean, I knew Orion couldn't be dead because of his obscure death scene. But I was wondering why all the charades, but I think his explanation makes sense. If he had just said he was Orion and tell Chuck they had to go into Roark's building to get the new intersect, he prolly would've thought he was crazy. I mean, yeah, he knows Orion is the real deal, and I'm sure he wouldn't think his dad is crazy enough to pretend to be someone like Orion. But finding out he was Orion would definitely give Chuck pause. And he was following Orion w/o question. If his dad revealed himself to be Orion and all "do this", would Chuck have listened. I think oddly enough, even though Orion is a stranger and his dad is his dad, he would've been less likely to do what his dad told him.

I do like how the spy/intersect stuff is starting to interfere more with his real life, sometimes in unforseen ways. I'm still skeptical they would have Chuck interview as himself. I mean, even if they don't have to fake credentials/background for him, if he showed up to get hired, and they took Roark down, wouldn't his allies be all, "hmm, they hire this guy, something happens to Roark, then this guy quits and goes back to the Buymore". That would raise some flags, wouldn't it. And they weren't even sure Roark was involved at first. So, if it had been something outside that hijacked/sabotaged his new OS and they took care of it and the company was still intact afterwards, would Chuck have to quit? Or would he have a new better job?

But yeah, the whole Jeffster seeing him interview and telling Morgan, who outs him to Ellie kinda screws thing for him majorly. I mean, I was expecting some issues with the Buy More, but apparently not. After he got tossed out of Roark, Big Mike or Buster weren't all "You're fired!" or at the very least even question why he took another job without even giving notice. And given Jeffster's interest in the whole release, you'd think some of the other nerdherders would have watched the webcast too, and seen Chuck (with some help from Jeffster!) mess up the release and be all, cliffV('What's up with that?!') And wouldn't Jeffster wonder why Chuck was trying to mess things up? I mean, Ellie obviously thought it had to do with their dad because he was complaining about the guy and all, "How can Chuck work for him?" But they're not privy to that. Or did they just think its their regular brand of mischief?

But wow Ellie must think Chuck is a real dick now. First she thinks he's trying to cover something shifty Awesome did at the Bachelor Party, and now sticking up for their dad when as far as she knows he abandoned them again. That was definitely sucky though, Chuck having to hear Ellie complain about what a lout their dad is, not being able to let her know the truth, that he was sacrifcing himself to save Chuck, and he had left to keep them safe.

Heroes- So apparently Angela and pals pulled a Dharma-initiative type purge back in the day in New Mexico, and the Petrelli clan and HRG need to find something buried there?

Hey, I'm glad they were able to reunite the Matt Parkmans, but isn't Janice freaking the hell out right now? And wasn't she being taken in for questioning by Homeland or whatever when Hiro and Ando absconded with the baby? Aren't they worried what happened to her?

Anyhoo, at first, I was thinking, "So Sylar's plan is to make Noah think his wife is trying to divorce him? That's kinda weak." Now, was he just trying to mess with Bennett and make him feel bad, or was it always his intention that Bennett would figure out Sylar wasn't really dead and could shapeshift now? Because that's a little far fetched. Or was it that the whole fake divorce thing worked out way better than he planned, because then he thought his wife was Sylar and tried to kill her. Looks like he's getting really paranoid, and had Lyle not called, I wonder if he would've ever believed her, because even when she was trying to tell him stuff only he knew, he assumed Sylar got mind reading powers.

But then Bennett tricked Danko into thinking he was Sylar and when he shot the guy Sylar had replaced and Sylar played possum, it made everyone think Bennett had just gone crazy. So wow, they actually did a decent job of screwing him over. He's on the run, and now his wife really does want a divorce and for him to stay away.

I do like the parallels between his sitch and Dankos. Because Parkman wants revenge, so he gets Danko to unknowingly lead him to the one he cares about the most, some former Russian call girl who thinks he sells school books. Is that even a real job?! So Matt gets Danko to reveal his true self to her, and he chooses his hunting life when Matt has her at gunpoint, so she leaves him.

So you have two men who's normal, non-work lives were destroyed this ep.

24- Wait, is Elisha Cuthbert coming back to do some guest starring on 24 this season. I think I remember already knowing this. But looks like they already have her return set up. So CDC chick is all, they might be able to cure him with something from a related donor, and she's his only family left (unless his nephew really is his son).

But wow, if I were Aaron, I would be kinda pissed. I mean, he got Olivia as a favor to Buchanan. He gets shot, and is prolly all ready to go home because its almost midnight, and she's off going to meetings in the middle of the night and dragging his ass along to protect her? And he's supposed to be retired to.

Owel, looks like its all up to Tony now, since the Prez had to abort the air strike b/c Jon Voight was able to get some of those missiles prepped in time. Its retarded he told her to not tell the Joint Chiefs. I mean, aren't they wondering why the hell she called things off without an explanation?!
