7500centfish and isabel79 were coming back from the Philippines that day as well, though they were supposed to come in the morning, but due to weather, their flight got delayed. But it worked out, pops picked them up from Kennedy, then swung by LaGuardia to pick me up.
But I certainly picked a fine time to come up here. Yeah, all the snow looks nice, but the windchill is making it ridonkulously cold. Not that I've spent much time outside yet. Well, other than to clearisabel79's driveway (well, just the entrance) and clean the snow off her car. Oh, and did get some last minute Christmas shopping at Walt Whitman mall Sunday. But I was in the mall most of the time, other than to cross the street to Best Buy. It was pretty crisp during that short walk though. Supposedly it'll warm up a little by Christmas.
