Spotted at Grand Central Station
Nov. 29th, 2008 07:41 pmEven though Saints Row 2 seems to be a poor man's GTA4, as I said, it does have some interesting play modes that GTA lacks. The hostage mini-game is interesting, as is the insurance fraud one. And hilarious, sometimes your character will sing along to the song on the radio. Awesome! As I said, you have a lot of customization for your own character, but you can also adjust the "style" of your gang.
sparkyboy likes the sporty style, but I find the suits and SWAT gear/body armor styling of the bodyguards style pretty snazzy. Prep-hop and Pimps and Hos are also cool, the latter for obvious reasons.
Anyways, had Singa's pizza for lunch, which is always good. Then headed over to Manhattan with pops and
sparkyboy to have dinner with me mum at some fancy eye-talian restaurant. We arrived a little early, so we waited around Grand Central for a few minutes. Oh, look, its a Christmas tree made of a bunch of flat screen TVs:
Dinner was good, but its hard to go wrong with Italian. Had a mozzarella appetizer and a pasta whose name escapes me T-something de Bolognese. It was a linguini-ish pasta with a ragu of beef, pork, and veal. Then had chocolate souflee cake for dessert.
