The roomie's gotten to the last mission of GTAIV. There's definitely at least two endings, so be sure to have a save before choosing between the penultimate missions.
So the eye-talians want you to score some H from the Russians, which means working with Dimitri. Roman says you should do it, since its a big score and they can get some serious bank which is good for him, since he's about to marry Mallorie. Kate tells you not to. So you can either make the deal with Dimitri, or take him out. Dimitri is a big jerk, so the roomie chose to snuff him.
Either way, you get into an insane shootout in a huge-ass place. If killing Dimitri, you have to shoot your way through the bowels of a huge freighter. The special execution for him with the pistol is the Niko kneecaps him through both knees before popping him between the eyes.
It seems like the end and happily ever after, you're taking Kate to Roman's wedding. Of course, the fact that the conversation to the church, Niko and Kate are talking about him quitting the life and how a special someone can turn a bad man good, blah blah blah, you know its foreshadowing her getting offed, because there's no happy endings for guys like Niko. Sure enough, after the wedding, the eye-talians, pissed at you over the whole Dimitri thing, do a driveby and kill poor Kate.
So, the last mission is taking out the Peg. For some reason, Roman and Little Jacob help, but not Packie?! Kate was his sister, and he's a crazy, violent Mick! Why wouldn't he want you to help take out the guys who killed his sister?!
Monday night TV commentary;
Where to start? Okay, so I know the actress who played Kati did not get along with Leighton Meester, so she was let go. But wait, they replace her character with Nelly Yuki?! That makes no friggin sense!! First of all, weren't they trying to destroy her last week, and she said she wasn't into all the normal UES stuff? But now she's one of the flock?! I guess a lot happens in 2 weeks.
Like Sarah/Georgina getting in with not only Dan, but Vanessa as well?! So she continues to torment Serena, first by outing Eric (how is that a big surprise?! I thought he was gay the first time they showed him!) to her and her mom. Then when Serena finally meets this Sarah Dan and V have been talking about, she sees its Georgina. I was confused why the hell Serena would play along. I would think at that point, screw it, nothing is worth enduring this ridiculous farce and she'd spill the beans that Sarah was Georgina, consequences be damned. But given the big secret is that she supposedly killed someone, it makes a little more sense. Being scared of what Dan might think of her is reasonable, given he can be a judgmental dick, but I was wondering why she wasn't asking Blair for help. Now I know!
Now, did she really kill someone, or did Georgina make her think she did? Or was it like self defense or something? And what the hell is her plan anyways? What does she want from Serena? To be a party girl again? Those are excessive measures to get a playmate back! Of course, Georgina does give off this obsessive stalker ex-gf kinda vibe.
Wow, in 2 weeks, Jenny became really full of herself and a conceited little brat. I guess Blair is back with the group, and she and Jenny are vying for power, with Iz and Nelly Yuki close to Blair, and Hazel, Penelope, and young-ass Elise (seriously, every time I see her, I think, is she even old enough to be in high school) backing little J.
An example of her conceitedness, when Eric was warning J about Asher. I mean, it was obvious that Asher was his lover and he was trying to stop J from getting hurt, but J was all, "Aw, do you have a crush on me, how cute!" What an arrogant little bitch! And she's all, "What can you do to me?" to her dad and still walking out when he's all, "You've lost my trust, if you walk out you'll also lose my respect!" Eh, the little brat is undeserving of your respect, Rufus.
But Asher really is a dick. Dan confronts him about the gay thing, then Asher is all, "Oh yeah, I'm gonna eff your sister, that's how gay I am!" So they're about to fight, and Jenny tries to get the story, and for some reason Dan lets Asher lie to her face.
But since Jenny won't listen to him (saying he's jealous of Asher) he decides to out Asher on Gossip Girl. Speaking of, that was a hilarious callback to the rumor that Eric was GG in the beginning of the ep when he and Serena were talking about the crazy rumors on GG and him being all, "There was that rumor I was Gossip Girl!" HA!! This also leads to a nice little Dair moment where Blair wants Dan's help since her goal of taking down Jenny and his goal of breaking her and Asher up could go hand and hand. Of course, no matter how much he wants to break them up, he's not gonna destroy his little sister.
But Blair has her ways, so she manages to get a hold of Asher's phone with Iz and Nelly Yuki's help to find corroborating evidence that he's a fairy. She does, but at the same time finds out he's with Eric, and she obviously doesn't want to hurt him. She tries to tell Serena, but S is too busy with her Georgina drama to take Blair's calls.
Heh, Jenny throws herself at Asher (in the jumper-style school girl outfit, so she looks even more jail-baity. Nice!) but he's all, you're my beard, why else would I go out with a low class girl like you. So they send a rumor to GG that Asher took her V-card. At the party, Blair confronts Asher about it, but she doesn't want to out Eric as well, so she just warns him. But Eric is there also, fresh from being outed to his mom and Serena by G, so he's all, its fine, and outs the both of them. Then B sends the e-mails proving his gayness to Gossip Girl.
The UES girls are pissed Jenny lied to them about sex, so they all get a line in on how they hate her now and she's out. Even Nelly Yuki says something! WTF?! Why should she have any right in saying anything!? In the end, Jenny goes Blair's house to tell her you win, and Blair gloats. Then Jenny is all, she quits the whole trying to fit in and get with the UES girls and looks all depresso, and Blair actually looks slightly sad and guilty about destroying her! Then Jenny goes home and cries on Rufus.
Oh, also in the ep, Rufus goes to Lily for parenting advice and they just pal around and are cute together. Until they do that prosaic guy sees the girl he loves in a fancy wedding dress and is rendered breathless by how great she looks and the girl asks, "Is something wrong?" because the guy is looking at her strangely. Anyways, that whole event brings the whole "Lily choosing Bart over Rufus and now she's marrying him" thing back into the forefront of their minds and it gets all awkward. They say they're still just friends, even though they lurve each other!
