geebsOne thing I've always found curious, people who don't remember their dreams. Is it that they know they dreamed something, but it escapes them as soon as they wake up, or is it when they go to sleep, its just nothingness until they wake up? I guess its easier for me to remember my dreams because they're somewhat coherent, albiet a little fantastical. Like the other day, I woke up real nervous because I had this dream where I had taken some sort of firearms class and was a volunteer SWAT person. Well, that part was cool. But then the city I was in (neither NYC nor Atlanta) was hit with some sort of disaster and I was called in to help out. I was evacuating some people into a shelter and telling someone about vampires and how to kill them, but then I realized one of their most dangerous qualities is that they look human. My next realization was that I was talking to a vampire, but I shot her before she could bite me.
Needless to say, everyone was shocked. I was about to stake her, but the rest of the crowd were skeptical of the existence of vampires, despite the evidence in front of them. I didn't want to abandon the people, but they were telling me to leave. So, I asked them, I can stake this vampire, or I can go. And they told me to leave. So I did, and just as I was out the door, other vampires amongst the crowd started slaughtering everyone. I got to the safety of sunlight and started firing my MP5 at the vampires in the doorway. I woke up soon afterwards, but my body was feeling stressed over a combo of feeling guilty I couldn't help those people, and narrowly avoiding being eaten by the vampires.

7500centfish, isabel79, my mom, and their mom had driven up from DC, and they passed by some rest area in NJ and got some cutie's number for me for some reason. I was with them on the return trip, and met the girl. She was a cute brunette, and we hit it off, even though I said a couple of idiotic things. And so I try to give her my number for some reason (even though I already have hers) but for some reason I couldn't write it properly. Heh, I'm amused the majority of my dreams have to do with either trying to hook up, or involve me fighting and killing things.

When did youtube start doing the whole personalized "recommended videos" thing? Ha, I find it hysterical that most of the videos they recommend for me are "ship" videos of couplings from various teen dramas. I guess that makes sense given my youtube viewing habits and favorited videos.
Monday night TV commentary:
Some confusing moments on HIMYM. Wasn't Marshall supposed to be at that job for a while? I thought SagetTed had mentioned in a previous ep that Marshall had gotten that place off on some really awful things five years from when he started, and that point hadn't been reached yet. I'm also confused why they're still getting that apartment. I mean, like he said, its crooked, and they don't ever reference the smell anymore. That's the same apartment from the Dowisetrepla (or however its spelled), right? And isn't Lily still in a crapload of debt? And when did Ted start dating Stella? I thought even though they had the two minute date, she still was too busy to date?
Its odd, because the continuity is all over the place! I mean, unless I'm wrong, there's a few things that seem off continuity wise, but the ep also references Robin's gun love (is it me, or did she look kinda hot in the suit with the gun?) and Barney thinking Bob Barker is his father.
Anyways Robin and Barney sharing a cigar? Weird, because who shares cigars? For that matter, who smokes a cigar whilst eating an ice cream cone?

Okay, the beginning of OTH was hilarious. Dan walking away, and then he turns around thinking Lucas is gonna thank him, and gets a punch to the face instead. And then the two boys beat up on their father!
Wait, is Lucas still hung up on Lindsey? Really? I guess he did go out to sea right after the wedding. Because with all his friends being all for "Leyton", and Haley also seeing the book is obviously about Peyton, mebbe he wouldn't think Lindsey is being paranoid if everyone else is saying he's still in love with her also. And him being out to sea, does that mean he just took off in the middle of the basketball season!?
And Nate and Haley are still having issues? I was thinking when it was obvious that Carrie was a nutcase, she'd be more forgiving, but I forgot the season started with him being all depresso over being a cripple and missing out on his NBA dreams.
And really, what is up with Brooke trying to adopt? I mean, its not like she's old and has little chance of conceiving anymore! She's 22, she can still meet someone and have a baby the natural way! Yeah, her mom screwing her over on the adoption process kinda sucks for her, like who is her mom to criticize her when she's such a frakkin' krant. But as the adoption agent says, she's single and running a frickin' huge business! What's wrong with her finding a nice bachelor to have a kid with, rather than trying to bypass that step and go straight into having a kid?!

I've finally played everyone in SW2 at least once, so I know all the new stuff they have. I didn't realize they beefed up some characters' musou attacks so they have a bigger area of affect. Like Yoshihiro's musou includes ground explosions (I didn't think they used to) so people all around get hit, not just near where his hammer pounds the ground. Some character comments:
Magoichi- his new c5 makes him much more playable. He didn't really have any good anti-officer moves in plain old sw2, his c3 is easy to miss with, and his c4 has that big pause before the final spread hit. But his c5 works well against officers.
Ina- her new c5 is way useful. Its much quicker than doing r1+triangle three times to get every attack afterwards to have ice element. So just start off with c5, then do whatever combo you like, since every hit will have ice element attached.
Date- I like his alternate costume color, its a snazzy light icy blue. I also just got his 5th weapon, Hell's Dragons. They're cool because they kinda look like Colt Peacemakers with a sort of dragon head looking shroud over the barrel. Yeah, its a huge anachronism, but at least using those, it makes more sense for him to be able to fire multiple shots without reloading compared to the matchlock pistols he normally uses.
Yoshimoto- interesting, apparently his play dead manuever does have a use. When doing his musou attack, playing dead right before your bar depletes, the musou will go on even after the bar is empty, for the duration of "play dead". So he does have some tricks up his sleeve!
