Interesting ep of Torchwood tonight. Heh, so if Adam removed Owen's cynicism, he'd turn into this dorky dork with a crush on Tosh? Of course, I'm also confused if that means confident Tosh would have no interest in Owen, or if her anger at Owen was more due to Adam's influence in trying to keep her for himself?
Of course, I'm also a little confused by the "resolution" of the ep. Forgetting all about him and destroying all evidence of his existence kills him? I mean, they act like, "Oh, that's weird, 48 hours of our life is missing!" Given their line of work, won't they think that's pretty disturbing?! Like, they'd seek out why they can't remember, and if they do, does that mean the guy comes back? And Rhys saw him too. He didn't really speak to the guy, but what happens when Gwen goes home and Rhys is all, "So you remember me now? Oh, who was that new guy?"
But Rhys' confession was pretty interesting. After all, he is a bit of a loutish idiot, who somehow managed to snag Gwen in college. So I can see him being worried about something like that, where she forgets why the hell she likes him, and how she prolly wouldn't go for someone like him now that she's seen all she's seen.
Heh, looking through the entries in my dream journal, there are a couple I'm actually aghast at and won't put here. But here are some more entries:

phatjoe hangs out with Dawson and clevemire loses his girl at cards: (comments in italics)
12/12/99- Dreamt I was in some WB teen drama, some cross between DC and Starship Troopers. It all started with Jen from DC and her Grams arguing over her choice of BFs as Dawson was fitting for someone of her social standing, so she leaves crying. (I have no idea what that sentence even means!) Joey (i.e., Katie Holmes' character, for non-DC watchers) comes in and starts lecturing Grams and Joey asks if she (she as in Joey?) doesn't know her place for being with Dawson, to which Grams replies you're both lower class so its all right. So Joey runs off to school to comfort Jen, whom she finds in the girl's bathroom crying in one of the stalls.
The scene switches to Dawson,phatjoe and I in the boy's bathroom talking about some great place Joe found for vacation. I went to wash my hands and they were still talking when some black dude comes in. He offers them a sample of this new drug (is my subconscious racist?) that can control chicks, saying its free to buy. The guy also says not to try any funny stuff like reporting this to the school, saying he'll have someone watching them. After the guy leaves, Dawson looks at the drug with concern and wants me to stay back from them and try and see who's watching them.
So we leave the bathroom and he andphatjoe walk away, me following from a distance. I don't see anybody yet, but then w00ter runs up, knocks me down, snickers, and runs away. As I lay on the ground I think to myself maybe the drug dealer needed time to get someone tracking them so I decide I should wait and so I crawl to some nearby grass, lying there and admiring the day. When I snap out of the day dream, I see all sorts of scummy guys, including some long haired blond punk in leather using the drug to take advantage of girls.
Meanwhile, Dawson andphatjoe and some others are being sent off on a mission to space. As they're heading to the launch area, I tell them I'll look after things here and I look at my watch and see its almost the end of the hour. Realizing its almost the end of the ep (How meta!) I tell them something'll prolly go wrong up there and I'll have to save them. Behind us, I see clevemire and this petite foreign girl named Anasita. They look like two people in love to me. Then I see the blond guy go up to Anasita, talking to her and trying to get her under his control.
Upon seeing this, I started to get real angry. So I run up and started to beat up the guy. I punched and kneed him several times and got him in a backbreaker before getting him in an arm-lock/choke. He started laughing because he was still able to get Anasita under his control and she made me let him go. It then cut to scenes from "next week's show". One scene had sparks flying on the bridge of the space ship the others left on, and scenes where the ship was in big trouble. Another cut toclevemire and some evil rich dude playing cards for Anasita and some other girl and the rich guy winning the hand and thus the girls.
Here's an another insane dream that is proof that I watch too much TV and movies:
4/16/00- My first dream was one of those ones where its introduced as a movie and I start living it. In this one, the basic premise was someone had changed time. They made some event in the past go differently which changed how history turned out. It was a mix of Highlander, the original Mission Impossible show, and Star Wars. Connor Mcleod was killed in the 1500s and now in the present, the Empire was planning to attack Earth. At one point a rebel pilot and an alien chick who can survive in the vacuum of space had joined up with another rebel pilot in a special fighter that was like a cross between an X-wing and a Starfury with a fully aim-able turret.
Meanwhile, I was with an MI team infiltrating a Super Star Destroyer. I was the only one who seemed to know how time was supposed to go. We were supposed to blow up the Super Star Destroyer and make it look like an accident. For some reason, I knew they (the Empire?) had a frozen powerful psychic girl on board who would awake in thirty seconds and start wreaking havoc on the ship so I tell the team to set it (a bomb?) for 25 and we could make our escape. But some Stormtroopers came by and started shooting at us. The MI team said they would hold them off while I escaped, which I did and the ship blew up.
The next thing I know, I was in a parking lot with that immortal shaman who was killing all the evil immortals to take and imprison their darkness and became evil himself. I had found an innocent immortal and pointed him out to the guy, Coltec. I picked a fight with the innocent and Coltec killed him. However, I started walking away before the quickening started and saw Steve Austin. Instead of the standard quickening, it turned into a mix of the Drew Carey "Cleveland Rocks!" intro and a WWF commercial with hundreds of people all over the place doing crazy things!
In my second dream of the night, I dream I went to a show with Kelli. I was about to drive her home when we bumped into he who should not be named (Neb Pinhead, not Voldemort!) . We were trying to figure the way back to her house from the city, but we kept getting lost. We asked directions from some black guy who worked at Publix, but we and Neb forgot her at Publix. So I drove back and got her and she had a loop of long rope hanging from her belt because the guy taught her the art of using the lasso.
I think we eventually got back, and the next day we went somewhere and had to get out of the city again. We were at some apartment with Faff anddankamongmen. So we left and got lost again. However, this time some gang wrecked some garage I had stuff stored at. The cops and gangsters were trying to prevent us from leaving the city. Not actively, but doing stuff to give us a hassle, like getting roads blocked and having people give us wrong directions. Overall the setting had the feel of a 70s detective movie.
