geebsI can't remember what I was reading that had me look up last year's PMOY (and I guess current, since the 2008 one hasn't been voted yet, I don't think), Sara Jean Underwood. (link NSFW, and can you guess which of those pics is my favorite? I'm so messed up!) She's pretty cute, I think. I remember back in the day, I used to be able to name every Playboy Playmate of the month, their measurements, likes and dislikes, etc. I prolly couldn't tell you any Playmates after say 2001 or so. I don't know if its because the pictorials are only slightly more titillating then a Maxim spread since they show a little bit more and I could find more "egg-citing" things off the internet, or the girls were of a certain type and I wanted more variety. In any case, it is kinda messed up that I don't know anything about Playboy Playmates anymore, but I could give you details about some random teen to early 20s actress. I mean, it could be some girl who isn't even "effin' famous" by my definition of the phrase, but I could name like the eps of every crime procedural she was in. Ah, if there was only a job where I could put my knowledge of hotties, TV shows, movies, guns, and cars to good use.
Anyways, more Thursday night TV commentary:
I thought last nights Assault on Precinct 13-ish ep was pretty cool. Though, even if they were using shotgun shells loaded with salt, that's still gonna frickin' hurt a person if it hits them hard enough to knock them off their feet, as was seen in the ep.
I dunno how I felt about Ruby willing to sacrifice herself for Sam. It just rings false. I don't mean she was lying, just that it doesn't gel with her demon-ness, even if she is a demon with a soul or whatever. I guess they added that caveat so her spell that required the cute virgin girl's heart wouldn't seem as self serving if they let her do it. I mean, if she's all, I can save you if I rip little miss innocent's heart out, they'll be all "just like a demon to think that!" But with her saying its gonna kill herself too, it seems a little more grey. But I can see them not going with the plan even if Ruby thinks they're being retarded and virgin girl was willing to go through with it if it took out the demons without hurting the hosts. After all, it would kill their hot demon companion AND the sweet little innocent virgin cutie.
It does suck that all the people ended up dying anyways because of Lilith. I always think demons disguised as creepy little girls are cool, because its way creepy! You let your guard down, because you think, its only a little girl! But then she eviscerates you with her vampiric or demonic powers. You would to be a fool! But yeah, it sucks miss goody goody got blowed up, but she doomed herself by being all, "If I live through this, I'm gonna have lots o sex!" Thus the virginal shield of innocence that protects girls like her in horror settings is broken! It also sucks they killed Hendricksen. I mean, he coulda been a cool ally. Actually, SPN is racist or something, because they keep killing the cool black characters. Him, whats his face the crazy hunter turned vampire woulda made a good nemesis also.
Sci-fi rules #432: If you're part of a space military/exploratory force, and you get stranded on some backwoods planet with a quaint little farming village, and you meet some Amish-Luddite cutie who's trying to get in your pants and wants you to live out the rest of your life with her and normalcy, and you're debating on whether to retire early to the easy life (not that farming is easy, but easier than fighting galactic empires or other space horrors!), or keep hoping your friends find you, the best thing to do is to choose the peasant life with the farm girl! This is because as soon as you choose to settle down and give up on being a space explorer, THAT'S when your friends frickin' find you! So then you have to be all sad and conflicted on whether to go back or continue being some ordinary loser. But if you accept the ordinary loser life immediately, you'll get found quicker and you also don't get too invested in the life so you won't feel so conflicted when you have to choose! ojv('Man, its obvious!')
