Geez, what's up with it getting so cold all of a sudden!? Its like freezing out there!

Hmm, today is Valentine's day. I'm fairly neutral towards the holiday- I mean, being all, "its just a marketing ploy by the chocolate and greeting card companies" is so prosaic! Besides, it seems one's attitude on the day varies on whether one has someone to celebrate the holiday with.

But cool, the writer's strike is over, and some shows' seasons can be salavaged. Jericho started up again Tuesday night:

Only 136 dead between both towns? Wasn't that train that Hawkins derailed supposed to be full of troops? I figured a situation like that, where it seemed they just put a bunch of people in boxcars, they'd be all smashed around when the train hit the tank. And given they Jerichoans and New Bernies were in close quarters when they started shooting it out, how the hell did the A-10s dropping bombs on the field not kill a whole bunch of people? I don't think there was a "safe spot" to drop the bombs to stop everyone from trying to kill each other.

I'm also confused about the Hawkins part of the show. I thought he was the only one of his unit that wasn't a part of the conspiracy. But with this new fake soldier guy, it sounds like Sarah was the only bad guy in that group, and everyone else was taken out?!

Almost done with s1 Dexter, and have my hands on s2 to watch. Heh, I watched the next to last ep of the first season before going into work, and that was a sucky place to have to stop at, since that's the climax of the season. Argh! I've also started reading Bendis' "Powers" series. Is it me, or is there not enough time in the day?
