The best that you can do is fall in love
Mar. 29th, 2007 01:19 amHow in the world does one get caught between the moon and New York City? Do they mean physically suspended in the air between NYC and the moon, or being in NYC when illuminated by the moon? And is it me, or the RGX body spray girl pretty frickin' hot?
Went to Fuddruckers for pre Lost/Southpark dinner. I wonder if you can get their lone star burger (their chili burger) with bacon?
So we get a Nikki/Lost ep. At first I'm thinking, "what is she, Sydney Bristow?" Then when Billy Dee shows up, I was like, "Oh, is she Jennifer Garner?" but it turns out she's just a guest star and is really a jewel thief in disguise along with Paolo?! This seemed like an ep of the Outer Limits! Its like she poisons Paolo with a spider poison that only paralyzes him, then gets bitten by it herself. And then everyone thinks they're dead, so they get buried alive!? So they killed them off? I don't think they can get out of this!
And they brought Boone, Shannon, and Arzt for this? Though Nikki is quite nubile! Dang, if I were Boone or Paolo, I'd try to get the Nikki/Shannon threesome! HOTT!
So on Jericho, New Bern shows up with the first of the windmills. But Heather didn't show back up. Did she really decide to stay, or is she a prisoner? New Berns doing the hard sell, and Jericho considers lying about giving them a portion of the spring crop. Major Dad is all, "That's how wars get started!" Well, they do have a tank. Anyways, New Bern's not that stupid, so they take 10 Jericho men to "help" with the windmill building so they have some collateral. Who goes? Stanley (what the, isn't he like the #1 farmer guy?!) and Eric, feeling all guilty over April.
Why, because April and her baby are dead! So they're down a doctor, but Jake managed to convince Kenchy to get his head out of his ass and take over. But are they trying to trim the characters down for a while since there's so many of them? I mean, Heather goes off to New Bern, April dies, now Eric and Stnaley are going to New Bern as well?
And go Dale, finally getting some of the Skylar action. And it only took him threatening some guy with a gun! She likes the bad boys, I guess!
So commenting on FNL as I watch it.
Woah, so Tim went all the way with Milf-y lady!
So Coach thinks everyone's being too cocky? Is that why he's displeased? And when there was that explosion, I was thinking, geez, they take these football rivalries a little too far! Like, did the opposition set a bomb off or something? And what's in the envelope? Oh, its $200. Why the hell would someone give him $200? Isn't that boosting or whatever? I mean, with the Voodoo scandal and Smash and his roids (though I guess no one actually knows about that!) do they really want to risk things?
Poor Jason. I mean, he's trying to live his life, but I'm guessing its hard what with his mom acting like his life is over and he'll be screwed if they don't get a nice settlement!
Is it me, or are Matt and Julie so saccharine? Actually, I guess saccharine means, too sweet its ugh. But they seem to just have the right amount of sweetness, so I guess saccharine isn't the right word. People wish their high school romances went this well! And heh, Waverly telling Smash he's off the hook. Whenever I hear "off the hook" I'm always reminded of the DC finale when Pacey tells Joey she's "off the hook", because the way he says it, you think he's trying to be all street at first. Anyhoo, Lyla and Waverly shooting bottles? Hott! You know me and girls with guns! But the fact that Wave is a nutcase, and mentioning her dad has tons of guns, sounds like scary foreshadowing to me.
And aw, you can't help but hope Landry actually succeeds with Tyra! Its actually kinda sweet. And I use "aw" and "sweet" too much for a show that's supposed to be about football.
And I'm not sure Tim's doing the smart thing picking up Bo and romancing the mom. I mean, sure things are going well now, but what about later? How's the kid going to feel when (if) Tim tires of all this? Its like does he actually see this thing going long term? Otherwise, its not wise to try and play replacement husband and father!
Hmm, over the line, Smash revealing Waverly's bi-polarness to Lyla? Though I guess it is fair warning, if she's not taking her meds and playing with guns! And with them arguing in the parking lot, does everyone know now?! Or is it one of those things where they're shouting but no one else hears them?
So, they're gonna build a football field?! Sounds sound in theory, but can they actually play there?
I know things suck for Jason, but kudos to Lyla for telling him off and getting to snap out of it. What does he mean he lost his friends? He was just hanging with Tim, Smash, and Matt just the other day! But looks like the settlement thing worked out for the best. His mom is all she just wants him to be okay. But he is okay!
Heh, Landry being all ready to be a leading man. Are they trying to be meta? And "figure out a quadratic equation"? Is that what the kids are calling it nowadays?
The coach has skillz, managing to convince to get the other coach to finally agree to playing in the makeshift field. I'm still not convinced this would fly in real life.
Damn, the game's not starting so well. But they tie it up before the half. Geez, its muddy. But the boys want to play it out! And are they going to do the thing where the crippled ex-star becomes assistant coach with Jason? Looks like it with the coach being all "You ever think about coaching?"
Aw, poor Landry, with the rain and the car breaking down! But what the? Some dude's trying to rape Tyra?! That's a totally unexpected development! Will Landry get there in time to save her? Looks like he doesn't. But Tyra's tough, she can fight. And gets away all by herself! But it looks Like Landry is there in time to pick up the pieces. I hope those two kids work out.
And Panthers are going to State! I'm definitely curious how this'll turn out. Are they going to lose? Or will they win but then get it taken away due to the previous covered up scandals?
