Yeah, I'm told all I ever write here is what TV show or movie I watched, or what restaurant I went to. Well tough! I'm just not that deep, so that's all that occupies my mind. So it is indeed an insight into me!
Anyhoo, hit Spiced Right on Monday with Scott. As we pulled into the parking lot, noticed the waitress stare out the window and curse us for coming. They could have closed early (since there were no other customers while we were there). But it was good. Scott was disappointed in the lack of sides, but all I was having was lots of BBQ pork, so I was satisified. Tried the sweet BBQ sauce, the thick and smoky, the mild, and the hot and mild mustards. The hot mustard was indeed hot. At least for me. (One of my pet peeves about Bill is that he doesn't like mustard. What's up with that?!) Then we tried finding Hayley's place before we came back. Scott axed his plan to do a jokey soul set for his show. He realized it would be so prosaic given the other stations were doing similar jokes for April Foolz.
Had a meaty lunch the next day by picking up a double meat horseradish steak and cheese samich at subway. I forgot how I actually started liking horseradish, because I was never a big fan of it until I actually tasted it, which was within the last year. Then for dinner, went to the Longhorn on Peachtree (the original Longhorn, I heared?) since Scott had a gift certificate. Of course, neither of us had steaks. I myself had the salmon salad. I'd been wanting to try one for a while, especially on meatless fridays during lent, but none of those other places had one!!
Came home, watched Andy Richter (the ep had both bigotry and girls kissing, 2 out of the 4 things needed to get my seal of approval!) and then 24. Tried to finish downloading a Jade set but w00ter came back and wanted to play JKII. I guess I could've gone and downloaded it earlier, but I was skeptical about the title of the thread. "Great site with lots of good sets!" Then I clicked on it and thought, "Wow! I need these!"
