I went to Best Buy today to look at new TV/VCR combos. There had a cool TV/VCR/DVD combo, but I wasn't ready to drop that kind of cash. I was looking because my current TV/VCR is almost a decade old and the stupid remote was broken. It wasn't the batteries, the menu and select buttons just refused to work more than 1% of the time, making it impossible to timer something. I looked at the universal remote controls, but was skeptical, because the last one I bought a few years ago didn't support the menu function. But I was able to find one that did. I can timer stuff to record again! Oh happy day!
