Last night, [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out and his wife came over. Hadn't seen them since the new year started, so it was good to hang out again. They brought over a bottle of wine, and picked up the order we phoned into Figo Pasta. Dinner was good, and we talked about what's the what. Its so grown-up, ha! Afterwards, had some Jake's ice cream for dessert, even though its so cold (I had Cinnamon Apple Pie, but I think Tiramasu, Key Lime Pie, and some sort of something-mango sorbet was also available) Then we played Trivial pursuit, doing Genus 5 and 90s edition questions. It was me and the roomie vs S+S, and while the Ss were ahead at first, we eventually came back with the victory. All in all, a fun night.

After they left, I watched half of my PVRed shows for the night. Watched 24, but had to save Everwood for some other time. 24 was okay, next weeks should be real eggciting though as Jack has to go all tactical espionage action on the enemy base and rescue DaD and DoDer before the govt drops the bomb on it. But still, I can't see why 24 gets all these raves while Alias gets none. I think Alias is the better show, but it doesn't get as much play as it should.

But I have no shortage of things to entertain me this week. In fact, there's too many things! I'm halfway through the latest Kare Kano. Its interesting they decided to jump ahead to the end of senior year. Its cool to see everyone making their plans of what to do after high school, all of which are very interesting. I guess it makes cents to move on from high school to tell the story. I mean, I think they may have exhausted all they could do in high school, and its open ended enough that I think stories in those years could be done anyways. And there's stuff on the PVR. I still haven't gotten the chance to play RE4. And Scott lent me Before Sunrise and Before Sunset on DVD since we've been talking about it.

And is it me or is it f'n freezing out there?! Just the other day I wasn't wearing a jacket, and now its so cold. That's the suckiest thing about dayshift in the wintertime, its so freaking cold in the morning you just wanna curl up under your blanket and sleep for another few hours.

Its so grown-up, ha!

yeah, mr. so-how-was-your-day-at-work...you're the ancient one!

and i'm sure that the half-hour or so we spent making fun of the grammatical shortcomings of several of our acquaintances was just so mature...
