Cool, just one more day of work to get through. After work yesterday, saw that Lemony Snickett movie with the roomie and Andy, who's in town. I found it entertaining, though there are a number of questions left unanswered. And could Will Farrell's movie where he's a soccer coach look unfunnier? And Nicole Kidman and him as Samantha and Darren in the movie remake of Bewitched? And she can't even do the nose twitch thing right! Picked up dinner at Williamson Bros, and C-Note and clevemire came over. Eventually, phatjoe and Pacer did as well, and we played various games. My favorite by far was Lunch Money. I totally whipped everyone's ass and laid 'em out cold! Though the second time we played they ganged up on me and left my lying in a pool of my own blood. But it was fun.

Owel, got tons of laundry and packing to do after work. I already got the X-mas gifts all packed up, so all I gots to do is pack my wardrobe and I'm done. Though I sure could use a nap.

actually, he's not technically playing him in the movie... he's playing an actor who plays him. so maybe that will even be a gag?

The film is about failing Hollywood star Jack Wyatt (Will Ferrell) who, in an attempt to salvage his carreer, agrees to play Darren Stevens in a remake of the TV show. Wanting a no-name in the part of Samantha, he finds Isabel Bigelow (Kidman), who just happens to be a real witch who's trying to be normal....

i personally love will ferrell and love ridiculous meta-comedy, so i think the plot sounds great. a straight remake would probably fall flat. it's been overdone lately.

i knew most of it myself. i had to imdb the character names to remember them. (i forgot that the chick is named Spike!!) hilariously enough, i was reminded that Whitey played Bruce Lee in Dragon.

in my mind i heard "MCFLY, YOU (B?)OJO!! THOSE BOARDS DON'T WORK ON WATER!!" and i knew (from my userpic keywords) the second line... so i just briefly googled to see if anyone knew what the insult word was. i saw one person call it "bojo" and someone else said "isn't it bozo?" but... it's definitely a J sound. no idea what the hell a bojo is.

Thanks! Yup, I'm Ant's cuz. I guess I have more than normal movie knowledge. Not really sure if it runs in the fam though... Anyway, I'm a big BTTF fan. Prefer 1, 3 then 2 though.
