Upgrades never going as smoothly as you planned. cliffV('What's up with that?!') That was an inauspicious start to the day. bomav('Ominous!') Damn, I'm tired today. So tired that it took me half an hour to come up with this current sentence. Well, I also stopped to use the loo and get a bottle of water. And other problems sprang up. When it rains it pours. Well, at least it keeps me awake. Its too quiet everywhere else. Speaking of quiet, one of the peeps at work had me freaked for a second. We have these christmas lights strung up around the ops workstations. I was about to take a picture with my phone's camera, upload it to my gallery right quick and post it here as an illustration, but the damn network for it is down right now. But how crazy is technology today that you can even do that? I'm sure it must blow old people's minds! Anyways, I digress. So he tells me, if anyone thinks the lights are too bright, they can be turned off. Then he tells me, same goes for music, whoever wants it the lowest wins. And I was all, there's music?! And not hearing any, thought I was maybe going deaf. I mean, this place does have a lot of background noise. But he was just saying it as a generality.
