geebsOwel, just lounging around on my day off. Watching The Last Starfighter on TV right now, just vacuumed and dusted my room a bit because I noted how dusty the blinds were. Holy crap, there was a lot of dust piled up on there, it created a literal dust cloud when I tried using swifter pads to dust it off, I had to pull out the vacuum cleaner to suck up all the flying dust. And then I had to put the sheets currently on my bed in the wash, since the bed is right next to the window and all the dust fell on it.

clevemire for the GMA's b-day. Went to the vortex, had the Vortex fondue, which was just a bowl of melted cheese for dipping tots in as an appetizer, and the coronary bypass with mayo. So that was a healthy lunch. Apparently, the sorta cute from some angles waitress had complemented me on my shirt, but I was oblivious. Most likely because we were talking about shooting competitions or first person shooters, and my mind was pre-occupied with killing things. Speaking of, wasted a couple of hours afterwards at the student center arcade. They got Time Crisis 3 there, so I'll prolly foolishly drop a bunch of money there playing that over and over. I really should just get the time crisis 3 with guncon for the ps2. But I do rule at that game. I'm the freaking man, king kong ain't got nothing on me! I was pleased to see I outlasted anyone who decided to join in as the other player. I mean, I smoked more baddies using just the handgun than the other guys did using the heavier weapons. Its too bad I can't translate such skill to the fps front. I can't believe they actually have people who do that professionally. That's insane. But I just could never get my head around the controls of the fps. My accuracy isn't shit when I'm not using something gun-shaped. Of course, there's also my zoning out when I get in the groove. I mean, my accuracy skyrockets, and every pull of the trigger means a dead bad guy, but I'm so focused I end up not noticing the rockets or knives flying at me or a really quick bad guy popping up all of a sudden.
Owel, didn't do as well on the Initial D game they had. Interesting that they actually made a game based on Initial D. Raced against this really cocky dude. I didn't do that bad, as I was on his ass for most of the race, but its still slightly embarassing. After all, in what world would a Miata smoke a Nissan Skyline in a race?!
