geebsStormy weather outside, saw several brief power flashes, one putting the bang on the UPS for a second. Had this weird dream last night that I had bought a ticket to Vegas and met up with the gang. I know I had another dream before that, but I can't remember what that entailed. Anyhoo, at church last night, this one dude who was loud and couldn't carry a tune sitting behind me. Now I know I'm not a good singer at all, but this guy was bloody awful! I know lack of being able to carry a tune shouldn't prevent one from joining in, but all I could think was, "Quiet, you!" And it turns out choir girl has a boyfriend. Dang. But there was this one mad cutie in cut-offs sitting on the opposite side of the row I was sitting on. Yowza!
Later at work, when night shift came to relieve us, had a strange conversation with N about the Mummy movies that made me think I was shifting universes again. Its like, I know what I'm talking about, I saw it not 10 minutes earlier on TBS. Yet he insisted I was wrong. It was surreal, I was like, am I in a universe where the Mummy was all different from what I'd seen?
Owel, finished off a bunch of stuff on my reading list. Sorceror's Stone is out of the way, I guess I have four books to go? I prolly woulda finished the book sooner if I wasn't reading a bunch of other things concurrently. Read a bunch of graphic novels I picked up from Oxford last week, TF: Dark Designs and Rage in Heaven, which was a compilation of the G2 series, and Sleeper: Out in the Cold, a compilation of the first six issues of Sleeper. All were pretty good reads.
