You know, it would be easier to sleep in on my days off if not for the chainsaws going off right outside my window. And when I saw right outside, I mean literally two feet away and ten feet below. After all, the apartment is right at the edge of the complex, with my window right across from the wall between this complex and the next one. And apparently they're doing some renovations. So, there's one of those mini-bulldozers parked right under my window. (again, literally), and every morning, it smashes more of the wooden wall, and then the workers take chainsaws to the pieces so they can be more easily carried off. Seriously, WTF?!

Saw that Love, Actually is on the PVR for some reason? With that and Bend it Like Beckham on there also, maybe the roomie is on a Keira Knightley kick? Watching Love, Actually right now actually. Now that I'm seeing it without that computer hum drowning out the sound and work distracting me,
I've noticed there are some awful things in it!

Seriously, could Alan Rickman's secretary be any more pushy?! Jeez, what a slut. And wearing that devil outfit to the office party!? Its Christmas, not Halloween, trash! And are we supposed to find it funny as he surreptitiously tries to buy a gift for her without his wife finding out while Mr. Bean is taking a long time to wrap it up? Because hijinks ensuing from marital infidelity is always funny. And that whole thing with Keira Knightley and her husband's best friend? So he's perfectly fine with just loving her from afar without anything coming out of it? And given that she found his stalkerish wedding tape flattering, and not creepy, she's fine knowing her husband's best friend is madly in love with her? I guess if he dies, she already has a backup? C'mon, they're one wine bottle away from an affair! And how rude is Colin Firth? I mean, changing his mind and just taking off away from the family would be fine, if he told them, "I found the girl of my dreams, and I need to go get her before its too late!" I'm sure they would understand. Instead, he runs off and looks like an asshole! And please, that Natalie chick isn't fat! If I were Hugh Grant, I would send the SAS to assassinate her dickhead boyfriend and then tell off my assistant's ass. Oh, and he's the damn prime minister! How hard would it be for him to make a phone call and find out her address! And wouldn't that be scandalous for him to date her? I mean, all these other English love stories always involve differences in station and wouldn't she be beneath him? She's his catering manager, for goodness sakes! And Liam Neeson's stepson sure took his mom's death well. I mean, five weeks later and he's already fine with his stepdad trying to hook up with Claudia Schiffer! And like he wouldn't be in huge trouble for that stunt he pulled in the airport!

And dammit, won't those chainsaws shut the hell up! Oh and it looks like the Dead Zone is back on. I was a little confused by the end. So was reverand Purdy's financial manager really the one who killed her and the whole thing with Stillson was a red herring, and that's what those pictures were about? At first, when Johnny touched the letter, he realized Rev Purdy killed this dude (which he prolly did) and framed him for the murder to get Johnny off. But if it was a frame job, i would think Johnny would want to find the real killer. Maybe it was totally clear that 1) the financial manager did kill the girl, 2) Rev Purdy killed him and made it look like a suicidie, and 3) the pics were evidence that the guy killed the girl, but stillson didn't want to release evidence that would exonerate Johnny, because it helped him that Johnny was in jail. But to me, if that's what they were trying to do, they did it in a very confusing way.
