Jan. 20th, 2004 11:54 amThrew my hat in the ring for that digital signage thing. I'm not too keen on it especially since there's no extra cash involved. It doesn't sound like too many of the other people are interested in it either. But they need one of us to do the job. I'll bite the bullet if no one else wants it. It would change my schedule to 8 by 5 and I could sleep a little later, and I'd get an hour long lunchbreak to go to lunch with peeps. But its also more work and the eyes of the big wigs are on you since its one of the newer technologies they've recently implemented here. Ida know. I'd prefer if it wasn't me, but if I do end up doing it, who knows, it might actually turn out okay.
Damn, I had broken my video game additcion for a while, and now I'm hooked again. I'm obsessed with having the characters master all the classes in FFX-2. Or at least most of them. Having to find all the gun mage's blue bullets and the 999 job points require to get elixir under the Alchemist's stash command is a little disenheartening. Not to mention trying to get their super costumes maxed. But if I can pull off the crap I did for DW4, I can do this. Currently, Yuna's learning Trainer, Rikku is on Songstress, and Paine on Samurai. They've all mastered their base classes and the white and black mage classes. I think Paine has the most classes mastered with her having most of the sword-based warrior classes completed. She hasn't done Songstress yet, but speaking of Rikku's (who's voiced by the same chick who does Bubbles' vocie on the PowerPuff girls, among other things) singing is slightly catchier (or rather, less annoying) than Yuna (who is voiced by the sister in the short-lived sitcom Boston Commons) I believe Yuna's singing was driving the guys nuts on Poker night. Ha!
Hey, and its the first new Gilmore Girls after the long break tonight. Cool.
