Heh, [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out is prolly getting miffed that I'm stealing all his material. But he and his woman had some weird misadventure getting to the Museum of Natural History, so I'll let him fill you in on those details. Anyways, I was supposed to meet them after church, but the way things went I ended up getting at the same time as them. It was fun but a little hum-drum. Saw the dinosaurs and the space stuff but its not anything I didn't already learn in science. Afterwards went to Chinatown and met up with [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out's friend Andrea at this place called Shanghai Joe's. Or mebbe it was Joe's Shanghai. In any case it had "Shanghai" and "Joe" in the name. Now that was a really fun time. Good food and hanging out talking about what's the what. But our NYC misadventures are almost over, since we all head back to the ATL soon. This has been one of the more fun breaks in a while, prolly since I didn't just stay home and veg out in front of the TV and play video games and surf the web all day. Of course, I didn't really have peeps to hang out with those other times, though I guess the girls usually want to do stuff but they want to start the partying late at night. Besides, I'm not really into the dance club scene.

Anyhoo, I forgot, its 2004. A new year, I wonder what hilarity will ensue in 2004. To paraphrase a certain lesbian wicca, there'll prolly be woo, and hoo, but also "uh oh" and "why now?" [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out had asked, but I made no real resolutions. Though today I had jellyfish. And for the first time out of a salmon salad, actual cooked fish. It was actually pretty good (had yellowfish at the chinese place) breaking my belief that I don't like the taste of cooked fish, usually eating fish only in sushi form. But I digress. What can I do this year? Perhaps grow up a little. Or how's this for vague: Since certain (shocking!) new information has come to light, I guess I have no choice but to redouble my efforts at stuff.
