clevemire had been telling me about. Its pretty neat, finally finished "filling it out" today.
According to its calculations, I've spent 1 year, 5 months, 2 weeks, 4 days, 9 hours, 10 minutes watching TV, which isn't entirely accurate. That's more, I've watched at least that much first run TV. And even that is a low estimate, because I didn't fill any 80s sitcoms, or the previous Star Treks or CSIs, which I've only seen sporadically.
Like I want to be honest, and trying to navigate which of those I did see just seems like too arduous a task. Like I left out original L&O as well, because its just too much. I mean, I guess I could say, I saw everything after X date for sure, the problem is I don't know what that cut off is for L&O.
Criminal Intent is easier, though even that I may have fudged a little. I said all of season 5 and on for sure, but I may have missed a couple of eps here and there in season 5. But from then it was going through the episode descriptions of season 4 and before. Which wow, several of those eps I had no idea were that early in the run. Like I figured there'd be nothing from the 1st season, but then I'd read the ep description and be all, "holy crap, that was 1st season?!" Like the one with the ex-Serbian military guy kidnapping wives and daughters and holding them for ransom and doing... things, if you told me to name what season that was in, I would have guessed, 3rd. But its a first season ep. Or the ep with accountant chick from Jericho who had married the cop that secretly killed her hitman husband, I would've guessed 5 or 6, but it was only season 3!
But again, I was trying to be honest, so it was a pain navigating shows like House, Castle, and Bones, that I started a couple of seasons into the run, and having to manually go through the episode descriptions to see if I saw them. Heh, its crazy how many of these I actually remember, though to be fair I also went into my TV show favs app and compared the lists since I had been marking reruns I caught on syndication as I saw them.
Things that also help me remember eps? Specific hotties guest starring on them. Like its hilarious how much a knack I have for that.
At the same time, its crazy how much I've forgotten. Like I was going through Everwood, and its funny because I like totally remembered every character on there but Nina. And she was like Treat Williams' love interest! Though to be fair, I guess she was the next door neighbor, while everyone else was either with one family or the other. I mean, there was Treat Williams and his two kids, then you had Starlord and Sharon Carter's family, so Nina was the odd one out.
But yeah, I definitely fudged Futurama and Babylon 5. Like I've definitely seen s3 of B5 and beyond, but prior to that, I just didn't know when it was on. Which that reminded me of Highlander being a show that I similarly watched during that time period that I just didn't know when it was on. But alas, it does not look like this site has it. Or frustratingly enough, Degrassi the New Class, even though it has Degrassi: TNG.
Actually, I guess I could go through the alphabetical listing to find shows I may not have on my list (which is currently at 226).
