Mar. 1st, 2017 08:54 pmAs I said previously, since I wanted some other stuff to play on my PS4 besides WO3 ultimate (since I basically accomplished everything there is to do in that game), I had gotten Sniper Elite 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, MK XL, and Street Fighter V. Though I've mostly been alternating between the later two, with the occasional practice on the shooting range in Sniper Elite 4. Its easier to play Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter since they don't require as much commitment.
I've beaten the character stories for all the available characters in SF V (there's still 4 more coming out), not that it was that hard, given its only 1-3 fights on easy difficulty. Which was one of the complaints about the game, so they added the general story. Haven't gotten into that yet though. I have been trying to beat survival with all of the characters since you get something for that. I've only done it with Juri, and surprisingly, Balrog. I do like his SFV incarnation. With the default controller setup, its easy to charge his turn punch while still able to charge for his dash punches. And I like his v-trigger that allows you to chain his specials together.
Anyways, also slowly making it through the MK story, but I guess there's also the individual endings to unlock. I did also unlock all the trophies I could so far. And unlocked Liu Kang's Dark Emperor And Jax's revenant costumes, because they look pretty sweet. Unfortunately, it does seem like the other dark costumes will be hard, if not impossible for me to get.
Like there is an online aspect to these games, but I don't have the time or inclination to get the practice required to not get eaten alive. Its like with the Warriors games, its hard for me to just stick with one character until I've mastered them, because I like the variety. And between SF and MK, that's almost 50 characters. Well, since the MK characters have three variations, its more like 100. Like I've gotten the trophy for playing and winning with every single variation, but there are unlocks for winning 5, 10, 25, and 50 matches with every single variation, which is a whole freaking lot.
