Apr. 9th, 2015 09:15 amGot the new Samsung Galaxy s6. I woulda gotten it Tuesday, but the UPS guy didn't even knock or ring the bell yet left a note all, "We tried to deliver, but you weren't in!" Yes I was, liar! So Wednesday I hung out in the living room, keeping the window by the front door in the corner of my eye. This UPS guy is a ninja though, because during the 1 minute window I took to put something in the oven, when I checked the door afterward "just in case", my package was there. (and the UPS website did indicate it was indeed dropped off during the window I was in the kitchen) And I didn't hear a truck nor see one when I looked up and down the street. Did the UPS guy park the truck down a ways and sneak up? Owel, at least he (or she) left the actual package, if they left a note all, "You weren't here!" I'd be pissed!
I do like how easy it was to activate the new simcard though- its cool you can do it online now instead of having to wait to talk to a customer service rep. Of course, I hadn't changed my phone in a few years, so maybe its been this easy for a while. Thankfully, it was also easy to transfer all the 2FA stuff to the new phone too. In any case, while I'm annoyed that it doesn't have an expandable micro SD slot, I like the phone so far. I actually went with the 64 gig version, and even with all my music, I have about 14 gig left, so hopefully that will last me the next 2 years.
