Holy cow, I didn't know Monty Oum died the other day. He's like younger than me! I'm sure some people reading this are, "Who?!" He was the animation director at Rooster Teeth, but I first heard of him years ago when he made Haloid:

You know, that video of Samus fighting a HALO Spartan II?

Then he did Dead Fantasy, which pitted the girls of Square-Enix against the DOA girls. After that he got hired by Rooster Teeth to work on Red vs Blue, and then came out with his own series, RWBY. RWBY was awesome. Its sad that his vision will never be finished.

He was really talented, I loved the choreography from his animations, and had an in depth knowledge of all sorts of video game combat from RPGs to FPSes to Fighters, and I loved all the references and recognizable iconic moves he'd throw in. Its just kinda shocking that he passed away, because like I said, he was relatively young.
