So all of Clone Wars is up on Netflix now, including the final season. So I'm catching up on that. Weird though, I think the episodes are out of order though. I mean, the eps are somewhat serial, but often times its this particular set of eps are serial, then they switch to a different set of characters and a different storyline (i.e., maybe they're following Anakin and Padme on Coruscant for one story, then they switch to like Obi Wan and Commander Cody in some random other planet for another, then Ashoka in some other planet for the next), which may not necessarily be after the previous arc. Like it could be simultaneous since it would be in a different part of the galaxy with some other characters.

But yeah, the out of order I'm actually referring to was the VA for Palpatine, Ian Abercrombie died, and was replaced with Tim Curry. So the end of last season, the beginning of this season, Palpatine was voiced by Tim Curry. However, the second arc of this final season, I realized that Palpatine was being voice by the previous VA.

I mean, I heard of episodes being shuffled within a season, but to push back episodes to another season? Then again, I guess this arc was full of political intrigue, which the cartoon network execs may have considered "boring" for the audience they were wanting to get (boys who buy toys), and pushed them back in favor of the arcs in the final half of the season, which were more action oriented. Although there was a bit of detective-ing (detecting?) in the last arc. But maybe boys find figuring out whodunnit more intriguing than political machinations? Although the eps that got pushed back did have some pretty cool action sequences. I'm sure there's an interview somewhere saying why they got pushed back, but I'm too lazy/not that concerned to try and really figure it out.
