7500centfish and isabel79 for the day. Had lunch at Katz's deli with TC's friends. Pretty tasty, albeit a little pricey ($16 for a sammich?!) and crowded. Intended to head over to Milk Bar for dessert, but it was closed. Then we tried going to Union Square Park, but that was all cordoned off because they were taking down the holiday booths.
So, we ended up going bowling for an hour. But we still had a few hours to kill, so we ended up going to a karaoke bar, which was totally fun. I started us off with Lady Gaga's "Applause", E did a bunch of "Keane" of course, finally got to do Warren G's "Regulate". We were originally gonna end on "Piano Man", but we ended with the always awesome "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips.
Met another one of TC's friends for dinner at Craftbar. Wasn't too bad, though my entree was veal ricotta meatballs with capellini, and while I got a lot of meatballs, I hardly got any pasta. Oh, over dinner heard some juicy gossip about someone in the fam, that's way interesting. But I won't share it here out of respect. But it is cool and hilarious.
Owel, all in all, fun day.
