So Ubisoft's released info on Assassin's Creed 4, which will have pirates:

Hey, the naval missions in 3 were pretty fun, so I don't mind having more of that. Anyways, looks like you're actually going backwards in Desmond's lineage- the main character seems to be Edward Kenway, i.e., Haytham's dad and Connor's gramps.

I like his look:

Ha, I'm amused he's carrying 4 guns.

Looks like he can dual wield swords too:

Hopefully, there will be more boarding actions- as I said, while I enjoyed the naval missions, it could use more boarding rather than sinking.

ME blather- So I toyed with the multiplayer in ME3 a little. Well, played a private board by myself as practice. And got my ass handed to me pretty regularly on Saturday even on the easiest setting (bronze), as the boards are meant to be tackled by teams. But after some more practice, I could at least get to the third wave on Sunday, mostly because I figured out how to play my character better- I had gotten a Turian Cabal chick as my free gift character from downloading Reckoning. (I was really hoping for a Geth Juggernaut or Alliance Infiltration Unit) And with her you're supposed to be mobile, keeping up biotic focus since it has such a short cooldown and a long duration. But yeah, shoot when you can, but I was doing best by running around and melee-ing opponents since her melee attack string is infinite and she poisons with her attacks. So even if you're forced to run, hopefully you do enough damage that they'll die from DoT. And biotic charge seems more useful as an escape than an attack, as it can go through walls. Its amusing, because she plays nothing like Nyreen from the Omega DLC, despite Nyreen being the basis for her.

TV commentary:

OUAT- Hmm, so Bae knows Hook? So in addition to being Rumpel's son, he's Peter Pan? Why not, Rumpel is already the Beast and Hook's crocodile. That is interesting though, if he is Peter, did Hook know he was Rumpel's son, or was that just one of life's strange coincidences? And also interesting, Bae was all, if he had landed in our world first, he would be a couple of hundred years old. So like Rumpel, he's experienced centuries worth of life?

And hmm, so Cora was the one who killed Snow's mom? Not that Snow knew it at the time, and Regina also figures out that the murder was just a precursor, and Regina's "rescue" of Snow was all orchestrated by her mom. Snow and Regina's moms seem to have some history, perhaps Snow's mom did some perceived insult to Cora over her being a mere Miller's daughter? And she doesn't want to kill Snow, she wants to corrupt her? And it does seem that Cora's succeeding, after tossing out some lady from Downton Abbey out the window, Snow is starting to take Regina's claim, "what did being good ever get you?" to heart.

Walking Dead- Just Rick, Carl, and Michonne in this ep, which is a road trip back to Rick and Carl's hometown to get guns for the upcoming war. They bump into Morgan again, who's gone nuts since his son got killed by zombie wife whom he could never kill. That was a neat trick though with the spikes and the rats in cages, getting the zombies to just impale themselves so he could finish them off and then burn all the bodies.

And ha, is Michonne a ninja? Carl totally dropped the picture right near the door, and Michonne like goes around the corner and picks up not only it but that weird little statue and coming back in like 5 seconds without even alerting the zombies?

First listen Mondays! So this week's ep is all songs feature prominently in movies:

In Your Eyes- From "Say Anything", of course, as done by Will with backup from ND. Easily and by far my favorite song of this batch, beautifully done.

Shout- From "Animal House", by Blaine and Brittany.

Come What May- From "Moulin Rouge", by Kurt and Blaine.

Footloose- From "Footloose" (duh), by Artie, Sam, and Joe.

Unchained Melody- From "Ghost", by Jake and Ryder. Heh, so will this be sung by Jake to Marley, with Ryder singing it also from afar?

You're All the World To Me- The dancing on the walls and roof song from "Royal Wedding" as done by Will and Emma (who apparently also dance on the walls and stuff too).

Danger Zone/Old Time Rock and Roll- From "Top Gun" and "Risky Business", respectively, sung by Sam and Blaine.

Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend/Material Girl- By Marley and Unique. I was going to say the first is from "Gentleman Prefer Blondes". But I guess its a Moulin Rouge reference again? I mean, I don't think "Material Girl" was featured in any movies, and I guess the arrangement is totally the mashup from Moulin Rouge.
