Justified- ( spoiler cut )
ME blather- So finally got Tali, and more importantly, got her bonus power Energy Drain. That is a great power, since it works on shields and barriers. I mean, I didn't really have anything to take on biotics on my own, the fact that it drains both shields and barriers AND damages the enemy is just gravy.
Also, ran into Banshees the first time. I'm not sure if they or brutes are tougher. I mean, brutes are big and scary, but I'm not used to non-boss enemies lasting so long against me. But heh, its a good thing Samara's middle daughter blew that monastery up, because holy crap, there were hundreds of those things there?!
Interesting, I didn't realize you could get with Liara in this one. I thought she was like Tali where you had to have romanced her previously to romance her in this one. I was worried about accidentally locking in with people, but it looks like you can let people down easily without outright rejecting them. Like Steve, he's all, "I'm just checking out the eye candy in the club" you can either say, "Hey, I'm eye candy too" to get with him, or be all, "Yeah, I like the eye candy on the stage", which happens to be filled with scantily clad asari chyx. A subtle way to be all, "Sorry dude, I'm straight". Same with Liara, she'll be all, "I'm glad we're here like this... just friends", which of course you can be all, "exactly, friends!" or you can finally fulfill her wishes and say you want to be with her.
There just isn't enough money in the game though, I'm not nearly close enough to afford a snazzy black widow sniper rifle.
