Aug. 6th, 2012 09:20 amWhat's up with the "pre-action" interviews on those kinda videos? I figure most people fast forward through those anyways. Because that's why people watch such things, to watch someone yammer on about themselves! Okay, occasionally, I'll watch it, mostly if I end up having to actually jump ahead a bunch before anything starts, just because I'm curious what the hell they're talking about for so long. Its usually the girl talking about when her first time was, which given she's in the pr0n business, is almost never a good story.

WO blather- So I've been re-working the weapon set ups for a few of the characters. I've been going the absorb/agility/bolt/brilliance/echo/slay/typhoon/wind route (well, actually I've been replacing echo or typhoon on most folks with prosperity for weapon farming), which is a reasonable set up, but annoying because it makes it hard to regain musou. Which sucks for people with good musous or R1 specials.
But the main use of echo and/or typhoon is for crowd control. Its important for people with sucky movesets, but not so much for the ones who have decent moves. Now, I'd been replacing osmosis with brilliance, because brilliance needs your musou meter to be full for it to work. However, for those with really good specials (ones that activate weapon attributes), they'll refill their musou meter anyways with osmosis.
So, I've been doing absorb/agl/bolt/brilliance/osmosis/prosperity/slay/wind for a number of characters who have great specials, and good enough movesets they don't need typhoon/echo (and I intend to replace propserity with one of those when I no longer need to farm), like Mitsuhide and Nuwa.
Some people build their character around the special attack though, going the frenzy route, which is fine, but its no fun using just the one move over and over. Like Susano'o, yes his special will kill everything instantly, and between osmosis getting activated during it, and equipping musou magatama, he can just do it over and over. But that's not any fun, I want variety in my attacks!
