Doctor Who- So the trailer for the new season is out. Unfortunately, I can't embed it because youtube doesn't offer it in the old style embed code, and LJ can't use that iframe stuff.
Anyways, again with the Daleks and Weeping Angels? The Daleks in particular, because how many times have they acted like they've been wiped out forever? And I know the Ponds are on the way out, but I swear, if they kill off Amy I'm going to be so pissed!
Degrassi- Ah, so the credits make more sense now. Jenna legitimately becomes a Christian and is hanging with Becky for real, not just to get with her brother. And Drew dropped out of school and moved in with Fiona. So I guess they're together in the credits because they're roommates. I was worried they were going to break up 1) Drew and Bianca and Fiona and Imogen and 2) turn Fiona straight.
WO blather- Some more character commentary:
Liu Bei- Looks like he has the normal twin sword moveset from DW7, but I kinda guessed that already given Cao Pi and Lu Xun's moves were different. His R1 special is similar to his son's- instead of casting regen, he gets an auto heal of a certain amount of health. Also, he instead gets a temporary attack bonus, as opposed to Liu Shan's invulnerability.
Also, apparently he and SSX have no special dialogue. cliffv('What's up with that?!') I mean, I assume he's the guy she's referring to in her convos with Kai. And Zhong Hui and Jiang Wei have no special dialogue either!
Kaguya- I had to play her in the beginning because she was one of the first characters available, but started playing other folks when I could. But, she's actually pretty good. Her R1 special is monstrous, and she actually meshes well with her type- she's a technique type, and a majority of her moves do juggle the opponent, so there's synergy there. Its annoying how many of the technique characters don't have all that good juggling capability, so its refreshing to play a character whose moves work well with their type.
