Jul. 2nd, 2012 08:35 amCan't believe I went the whole weekend without commenting on the pending Tomkat divorce on here. I guess the brainwashing has weakened enough that she was able to finally formulate a means of escape? Katie's a brave woman though, trying to get sole custody of Scientology's princess, isn't she worried about them declaring a fatwa on her? I mean, look what happened to Chef! He didn't even speak out against Scientology, he just didn't chastise Matt and Trey enough for making fun of it, instead expressing just mild disapproval!
WO blather- Hmm, I'm thinking I'm going to have to spec out two different Pacific Blades for Mitsuhide. I've been using the standard "best" load- agility +10/absorb +10/bolt +10/brilliance/echo/slay +10/typhoon/wind +10. (well, technically I subbed out echo for prosperity +10 so I could use him for weapon grinding) But, his R1 is one of the best in the game, and his true musou looks totally awesome. So another one with agility +10/absorb +10/bolt +10/osmosis +10/slay +10/typhoon/verity/wind +10, which will let me do those to my hearts content?
Looks like Sima Shi was decloned from the rapier set (haven't played Liu Shan or Yuan Shao yet, so not sure which has the original and which one was decloned) I like his new c4 and c6. His ex attack is still great, but it could be better if there was any forward movement on it. As it is, its solid, because since its off his c2, the first hit hits him in the air, and given he's a technique character, he does critical damage against airborne enemies, and the ex part slashes them several times before ending in a nice area effect hit that clears out people around him. He's got good speed, enough that its easy to forget he's not actually a speed character, and thus cannot double jump.
Ranmaru is similar to Xiahou Ba in many respects. I think Ranmaru is runs faster under normal conditions, but like Xiahou Ba, his attacks are very slow because he's wielding a big-ass sword. However, like XB, his R1 is a speed boost, but unlike XB, it just boosts his attacking speed, he doesn't get the crazy running boost.
