New Resident Evil 6 trailer:
Ah, so that is Ada Wong in there. People were thinking it was her in the last trailer, but I was a little skeptical because she doesn't look Asian at all here. In any case, they do throw in gameplay here lest you think this is just a BS CGI movie that is not reflective of the game at all, and it looks every bit as impressive.
Assassin's Creed 3:
Connor's a bad-ass, heh, though single handedly turning the tide of a battle seems a bit much! How many Redcoats did he take out there himself? Alas, this is just a cinematic, but as you can see from the other vids, the actual in game graphics are no less impressive- the sheer amount of stuff rendered in the frontier woods, and the sea, and the streets of Boston is cray.
Star Wars 1313:
Heh, since today's gamers tire of trailers that look nothing like the game, it seems developers now are all, "yes, our game looks like that!" Here's a vid of the actual combat in the game:
So, you play a bounty hunter in this game. Of course, some people are complaining, this isn't Star Wars, since you don't play someone with force powers. To quote George Harrison, "It's been done!" I mean, you can play non-force folks in like SW:TOR, but even your character in Tie Fighter ended up being secretly force sensitive. I guess Republic Commando you didn't play force-sensitive, but I think some of the other Star Wars FPSes on the PC, even if you didn't start out a jedi its like, "Oh wait, you secretly have force talents!" Now, maybe this bounty hunter dude does end up being skilled in the force, but I think it would be bold if they just stuck to bounty hunter stuff, fancy armor and jetpacks and gadgets and all that jazz, get to play someone without force talent still being bad-ass in the SW universe.
Halo 4:
In typical game franchise fashion, there's a new enemy even tougher than the Covenant. But it looks like you get all sorts of wonderful new toys.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist:
Between this and AC3, today's video game action heroes can kill swiftly, stealthily, and way creatively. Hmm, looks like in still has the "tagging" system from the last one, looking at the gameplay:
Which means you can be every bit as bad-ass as the Sam Fisher on the trailer.
