Ah, so they released the remaining two tracks from the upcoming "Big Brother" ep of Glee. Both of them appear to be Quartie duets, which I'm sure makes all the Quartie-shippers happy, and those hoping Quinn would be singing with whoever they ship her with not.

I'm Still Standing- A cover of the Elton John song. I'm trying to remember if we ever had Quinn and Artie sing together before, but in any case, they do sound amazing together.

Up Up Up- Quinn and Artie doing the song by the Givers. Again, they both sound pretty good together. Is it me, or is the video for the normal song kinda hippie? And hipster-y too, I suppose. Can it be both? I wonder if this song will get more play because of this ep, I mean, "We Are Young" by Fun. started blowing up after it was featured on the show. Next thing you know its in all these commercials and stuff. Same with The Wanted's "Glad You Came". I had heard it last summer so when I saw it was being done on Glee, I was all, that's amusing. And now that song is everywhere. I don't know if it was just a coincidence or not, like they happened to use it right as it was getting popular (the other new British boy band, One Direction was starting to hit it big here, so that prolly helped too), but I'm sure they did help get it out there.

Got to church 20 minutes early this morning to avoid the Easter crowd. Annoyingly enough, that wasn't early enough to get there before someone sat in my usual seat. There's hardly enough room at church on a normal Sunday, so I knew it was gonna be cray today. Sure enough, dozens of people ended up having to stand in the back. I guess they really do need a new building. I wanna say the current church can hold around 500 people, but that's just not enough even on a non Christmas/Easter mass. Because if the normal masses are that crowded, how crazy must the ethnic masses be? Anyways, I would make a comment about people who just show up to church on Christmas or Easter, but if everyone did go weekly, then I'd have to deal with this crap every week.

I was annoyed after mass, because I only remembered right as I was driving into the Publix parking lot that Publix is friggin closed for Easter. I was also going to get a samich and some cherry lime-aid at Firehosue, but they're closed too. WTF?! Not everyone has Easter plans or celebrates Easter, open your places so I can buy your shit! Ended up going to Burger King, where the cute cashier girl did feel sorry for me and my laryngitis. It was cute, she wondered why the hell she was whispering too, and kept apologizing for making me talk, like she asked me my name and was mortified when she couldn't understand what I said because she didn't want me to speak again.

And now for a complete tonal shift in this post. So, the Batman/Mantis on Fringe scene had actually been leaked on one of the geek sites I read earlier in the week. Only they didn't say what the scene was about, only that it was so horrifying. Heh, so when the scene started out with Fauxlivia hanging with the two Lincs, my mind went to her about to suggest a threesome with the two of them. I mean, obviously I wouldn't be horrified by that, but I can see how others might. But like, Fauxlivia's kinda wild and adventurous, I can see her wanting to try it.

But it has me wondering, when people hear me talk about devil's threesomes, they don't think the guys like do anything with each other, do they? Because its basically just picking a spot for yourself, because there's three to choose from! (I like to think of it like a roller coaster ride, where it just seems wasteful to send the car around the tracks when its not full.) And totally not gay, unless you share a hole. I also never understood the appeal of DV or DA, that can't be comfortable for anyone involved, unless they just get off on the depravity of it all. DV/A and DA/V even more so, because really, how is the chick not in tremendous pain, and for the guys the sensation has to be outweighed by the total awkward positioning. At that point, to me it just seems like desperation to stick it in something, because contorting yourself like that, would you know the diff if you were doing a fleshy mass as opposed to an actual woman?

Owel, I was also thinking, I've like seen a lot of stuff that I can't really unsee, and I wonder if that affects me mentally. I mean, maybe I'm giving people too much credit, but there are some things, its like, I can't even see certain people conceiving of such things being possible. Like if I described certain things to them, it would blow their mind, they'd be totally horrified. Or maybe I just don't want to imagine them being able to imagine such things, because that would horrify me.

So I was flicking through the channels while heating up some water for some tea, and Monte Carlo was on HBO. I know some of you would be shocked I have not seen this yet, but I wasn't actually intending to watch this this afternoon, but Leighton Meester, Selena Gomez, and Katie Cassidy were way too cute and hot and adorable that I couldn't look away.

Its a silly movie, and I'm so used to seeing Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, it was weird seeing her not being a spoiled rich girl, though she was still playing uptight. Also, it was weird because the girls' characters were supposed to be Texan, and Katie Cassidy would fluctuate between talking normally and speaking in like a really thick Texas drawl (which Selena and Leighton lack, even though they're from the same place), as did Finn from Glee. Its kinda amusing in the end, he's doing exactly what he should be doing for Rach on Glee, telling his gf he doesn't want to keep her from something better. Of course, if Rachel does what Katie Cassidy's character does here, which is choose him, I (and many other Glee fans) would be so pissed. Her character's whole dream is to be a big Broadway star, if they have Rachel forgo that for some boy, that would make no friggin sense whatsoever.

At least when Rory (from Gilmore Girls, not the one on Glee) ended up going to Yale instead of Harvard, even though that was her dream since she was a little kid, that made a little more sense. For one, though I'm sure this would offend many Harvard and Yale folks, its basically same diff. Its not like Rory was forgoing the Ivys, and Emily and Richard did give rather good reasons why Yale would be the better choice for her. If Rach doesn't end up going to NYADA and trying to pursue her Broadway dream, that would just be an awful development.

But I digress, accents. Selena's English accent wasn't the best in the world, but it was still an English accent, and English accents automatically make girls way hotter.

So I was randomly flicking through the channels, and saw a commercial for Lionel Richie's Tuskegee album. Basically, its him covering his old hits with various country artists like Hootie (yeah, I know Darius Rucker isn't actually "Hootie", but I figured people would recognize that easier), Shania, Little Big Town, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, and Jennifer Nettles. There are some others, but I'm only naming the ones I recognize. Which, how do I know this many country acts?!

In any case, it was quite fortuitous that I saw that commercial, because I just downloaded the album off itunes, and its friggin awesome! And wow, am I even more frustrated that I can't talk or sing, because I can't sing along to all these great Lionel Richie hits!
