Feb. 25th, 2012 06:38 pmOh, weird, so Nicole Anderson has been cast as Kristin Kreuk's younger sister in that new "Beauty and the Beast" pilot? While I find it silly they're making another show based on "Beauty and the Beast", I do like the idea of those two playing sisters.
TV commentary:
Person of Interest- Wait, this isn't among the shows CBS has online anymore? cliffv('What's up with that?!') I can understand cable shows not being available online, but it is total BS when they do that with network TV shows. Whatever. So this ep, I guess we're back to a certain someone? ( spoiler cut )
Glee- So a lot of my past posts about the winter finale were centered around Faberry, but here are some actual non-Faberry comments I had about the ep:
-I know I keep saying it, but I love the length of Quinn's hair this season:

I mean, how cute does she look here? I mean, even when she's doing something incredibly dorky, she's adorable:

(what in the world is she doing here? I guess this was during the Warbler's version of "Glad You Came" and one of the lines is "hand you another drink, drink it if you can". Is that supposed to be like drinking or something?)
While I do favor brunettes (particularly light eyed ones), I do have a penchant for short haired blondes as well. (I blame Veronica Mars, Chloe Sullivan, and Samantha Carter.) Not too short, they still have to be able to get it in a pony:

Well, I'm fine with guy-short hair on those girls who can actually pull it off. Plus, it lets me say, "I'd like me some of that, whatever that is!"
-Although the casting of Rachel's dads were pretty good (well, some people will tell you her black dad isn't black enough), the problem with the show casting them so late into the series' run is that its kinda weird we've never seen them at the competitions until now. Because they're all about performing! I mean, when her dads were looking at her with awe during "Here's To Us", while I'm sure they always look at their little girl like that when she sings, since this is the first time we the audience are seeing them seeing her, that look of amazement seems like they're only now seeing her sing. Which again, makes no sense.
-Trent Warbler is often referred to by fans as "chubby Warbler". But he's not that chubby! I guess compared to the other Warblers, but still.
-Hmm, I'm trying to figure out if The Mack was one of the Troubletones during "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" (her character being one of the recurring background characters I notice besides Trent and floppy haired bass dude) I mean, of the backup girls there, only one of the white girls wasn't blond, but we don't ever get a close enough look to see if it is the Mack. In any case, I've said this before, and I realize professional dancers are supposed to be athletic, but damn, them Troubletones girls' arms are pretty cut.
