Dec. 5th, 2011 09:29 pmStill playing the hell out of DW7: XL, but I might be done with that in time for Warriors Orochi 3: (well 2 in Japan, 3 here):
As I said, wish they had more of the Warriors of Troy and Bladestorm characters than just Achilles and Joan of Arc, but I'm just glad they have all the DW and SW characters. Ooh, and Ayane from DoA/Ninja Gaiden!
And wait, there's a "Three Kingdoms" based anime? I saw this clip from it, Lu Bu's last stand:
I've always wanted to see a RotK based anime. But I guess this is based on the manga Souten Kouro, which follows the historical accounts rather than the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel. As such, apparently Cao Cao is portrayed much more sympathetically and is the hero, whereas Liu Bei is a secondary character. Its too bad I don't understand Japanese, but in that clip above, apparently Liu Bei is saddened by the likely demise of Lu Bu? But heh, was Lu Bu really using Red Hare's decapitated head as a weapon? And how could they kill Red Hare?!
TV commentary:
Gossip Girl- What the hell is this BS! ( spoiler cut )
