clevemire was telling me about Chick-Fil-A's version of the Hot Brown. And how supposedly if you tell them its your first time eating it, they won't give you utensils to help you eat it. Just some fries and bread and you figure out how to eat it out of the bowl from there. So, that made me think of my "dog food bowl" thing, which some of you know what that is. (As for those that don't, don't bother asking, and be thankful you don't know what it is) But, even if you don't know what it is, poll time!

So, picked up a new Nano at the apple store yesterday, a 16 gig one this time. Hey, I needed to use that apple store gift card
isabel79 got me for something, and I said I'd wait until I had my old nano for at least a year before I got a new one, which I did. (More or less) Like I said before, I was close to filling those 8 gigs up, even after trimming what's on it several times. And with a whole batch of new Glee songs coming up next month (including a bunch of Madonna!), I figured getting one with more space was preferable to having to trim down what was on the ipod again. And with it being a few months since its release, Invisi-shield's invisi-shield for that model was readily available. As was the same type of rubber sleeve I had on my old nano. I know, slight overkill there with the invisi-shield and the case, but I like that rubber cushioning, plus the sleeve doesn't actually protect the screen from scratches and the like, which the invisi-shield does.
So with the 5th Generation one including a video camera, I now have three pocket sized video recording devices. It also has a built in speaker, so you don't have to have earphones anymore. Not that I would use it sans earphones, just that if I forget to put the button lock on, if it does accidentally start playing in my pocket, I'm more likely to notice it now. It also has a radio, which I'll prolly rarely use, but I'm amused at the live-tagging function- when you're listening to the radio, it picks up song info via RDS. You can choose to tag a song you like, so the next time you sync your ipod up to your computer, it'll bring them up in the itunes store. Pretty clever way to try and get money out of people- "Hey, this sounds cool" and give them a direct line to purchasing it.
You know, I didn't realize Apple got rid of DRM for most of its Itunes music last year? What rock was I living under? Not all of it though, I think there are still a few things in their library with DRM.
