COW AND CHICKEN?!!
Oct. 29th, 2009 01:13 pmEven though I posted about this last week, I totally forgot about Subtle Sexuality until
turdburgler just reminded me of it. Pretty funny, and it looks like they're taking a page from the Glee page book by having the song and video available to buy on itunes. I was going to say, why didn't HIMYM do this with Let's Go to the Mall, but apparently they did. They did not release "Sandcastles in the Sand" though.
(I'm also trying to remember, when they changed receptionist Kelly's name to Erin, was that like her middle name, or did they just pick a random other name for her to go by since there couldn't be two Kellys?)
Gametrailers has some new vids up for Bayonetta is it me, or is this game ridiculously over the top and total fan service?! Not that sex and violence don't sell.
I mean, look how awesome Ballad of Gay Tony looks. I guess one should be disturbed at a game glorifying a life of crime, making it looks all glamorous, full of cool cars, hot chicks, non-stop action. But isn't it better today's youth live out such fantasies virtually rather than doing it for reals? And its not like they can really ride a motorcycle down a runway along side a small private jet, jumping onto the open rear hatch at the last second, take out whomever's inside and then parachute out. Or skydive out of a chopper onto a skyscraper to get to a target, defenestrate them (I love that word!), and then base jump to escape!
Assassin's Creed II looks pretty awesome. And how stylish does Enzio look not in his Assassin's garb. Not that his assassin outfit isn't also cool, since its Renaissance Venice, rather than the cloak over a plain, pragmatic outfit and armor that Altair sported, its got a touch of flair. I mean, he's still got the hooded cloak, because how can you play a rogue in a fantasy setting without one of those, but it looks more fashionable. Because just because you're a professional killer doesn't mean you don't have to look good while doing your job. Plus the swords are fancier looking. I've always like the intricate designs of fencing swords. Not that you don't get all sorts of other weapons to use, because after all, variety is the spice of life!
