NCIS- You know, when they had that one agent give his report via satellite, I was all, "I know that guy sans beard!" Since imdb was of no help for the ep, rewound to after the title for the guest star list. I saw "Todd Lowe" and was all, "Oh yeah, he was Zack on Gilmore Girls". But I double checked with imdb for posterity, and looking at his other credits, how, even though I watched every ep of Gilmore Girls (and still sometimes catch the 5pm reruns on ABC family since I have to have the TV on something, and its either that, NCIS on USA, or whatever TNT is showing, be it Bones or Numb3rs, or what have-you) and True Blood, did I not realize he was Terry Bellefleur? I guess its the beard. Or I'm not as good at knowing random actors as I am random actresses. Because I totally did not know until recently that Eric's other underling (i.e., the one who's not Pam) was Coach Tanaka on Glee either.

90210- Heh, the TWoP recap did remind me of one thing about the show- where the hell is Kelly's son? Is he still "living on a ranch with Dylan"? Or has he gone the way of the youngest Winslow sister or Richie's older brother? (Pop quiz- name the shows I'm referring to!) spoiler cut )

Obtuse statement of the day: WTF?!! Over the years, I've seen a lot of certain something, and occasionally I'll see something "new" and it will disturb me profoundly. I wanna say its happened three times before, and today is the fourth time. Anyways, the creators of a certain popular cartoon once made a jokey reference to it, but I thought, surely that's physically impossible! But apparently just one of those being "D"-ed isn't. What the frickin' frick?! I like had to do a double take to see that I wasn't seeing things, but that was what was happening. I mean, my tastes are somewhat common knowledge, and while some people disagree with me about it being totally not what they feel it is, I at least think some people know where its coming from and what its all about. But that... that's just too much! That's just frakkin' deviant! Like why would you even do that!? When people talk about people being addicted to that, to me it does represent all that is wrong with the act. Its like what are you, friggin' animals!?

Sporcle quiz: The lyrics to "Don't Stop Believin'"- argh! I can't believe I only got 14 out of 20 on this. That's not even passing (well, by my HS's standards!) You'd think from the number of times I've heard the Glee cast version (not that I didn't think the song kicked total ass before the show came out) I would know the song by heart by now.

TV commentary:

Glee- How fun was the impromptu jam session of Nelly's "Ride Wit Me"? No studio touches, just the kids singing for real and just having fun. And I've always thought that was a nice and catchy song to do. Even if I think its sometimes easy to trip over the words. (Is it racist that I keep wanting to say "style o' 'clotes' you wear" rather than "stylish clothes"? Like why did I automagically assume the lyrics wouldn't be proper English?) We got to see more of Harry Shum Jr's cool dance moves during "Hate On Me". (Though everyone can move!) Speaking of the performances, I failed to mention Santana was looking mad cute during the "Halo/WoS" mashup last week (its the shy hand over mouth thing. See also: Quinn during the football teams' "Single Ladies" dance) , and she was looking mad cute again tonight in her little cheerleader outfit during "Hate On Me".
