May. 25th, 2009 11:40 pmA-Ha! I was quite suspicious that a certain thing was happening, and my suspicions were confirmed. I'm quite astute!
Is there anything more to Twitter than people just randomly posting short little thoughts? You'd think that would be something I'd be into, given how I often I used to post such random silly things in various forums like gtg. But if that's the entire point, that kinda takes the piss out of it.
Anyways, the roomie had a memorial day cookout Sunday. It was good, the food was delicious as always. The roomie's skirt steak recipe is quite divine. w00ter was in town (well, he was the whole reason the roomie decided to throw it, since we hadn't seen him in the longest time), so got to meet his fiancee.
poodleface or
phatjoe brought over some movie, Detroit Metal City, a live action movie based on some manga. It was pretty hilarious, and was cute at times. Though that's an amusing adjective to describe a movie that includes such songs as "Fuckingham Palace" and "Fuck No. 18". (And what's with the manager having that Naga laugh?) I was also amused that the protagonist is supposed to be hetero, yet in his non-Krauser II guise, he's totally flaming. I mean, guys may want to be stylish, but they don't sigh and wish they had a "stylish" life. Or mebbe its a language/cultural thing, and perhaps there's a word in Japanese that means stylish that guys can aspire towards that doesn't seem ghey.
Today, hit Sonic for lunch, then just watched episodes of Bones (there was a marathon, apparently) and read more ishes of "Walking Dead". "Walking Dead" is a pretty interesting series. Its a zombie series that focuses less on surviving the living dead and more on trying to make a life in a post-zombie apocalypse world. I mean, I like how the book is all practical about the survival. Its an interesting and refreshing take on the genre.
