TV commentary:
Smallville- Interesting, I was wondering why Gay-ta's character was getting a relatively higher than normal amount of screen time for a minor character, and also the whole, "Oh, I've been working with John Jones" line. Apparently he is playing a minor DC character. And here I thought he was just some random. The show has been going on for too long though. Like I recognized the Plastique chick. But then the shapeshifter chick (not that one chick played by Lizzie Caplan in the early season) dies, and Clark was all, "Eva!" as if she was someone we've seen before. I was all, who the frak is Eva?! And you know me and minor characters on TV shows, if I don't know who they are, they must be obscure! Like people are still baffled that I can name more than ten pilots on BSG other than Apollo, Starbuck, Helo, and Boomer/Athena. Wait, lets see if that's actually true: Racetrack, Skulls (the black guy), Kat (Starbuck's rival and big faker), Hot Dog (the one played by EJO's son in real life), Chuckles (the asian guy), Redwing (the native American guy, or I assume he is. With a name like Redwing?), Showboat (the tall chick), Hardball (aka Seelix), Stinger (the Pegasus CAG), Crashdown (Doomsday on Smallville), and Narcho (the guy from First Wave). (Yes, I just did that off the top of my head) I say, how can you not?
Supernatural- Kinda a filler ep, but I guess necessary to set up next week's season finale. ( spoiler cut )
The Office- The whole YMCA thing, yeah, its cheesy, but still appropriate as an example of the possible cheesiness of such events. (Not the cafe-disco thing, post-nuptual celebrations) It totally reminds me of the weddings and other public gatherings the fam had. Seriously, what's up with them and stuff like that and the Achy Breaky Heart and the Electric Slide. And is Last Dance required to be the last song at such things?! And what's up with certain other people not having such things at their weddings? You know who you are!!
