For the first time, I feel wicked

Okay, this is hot and all:

But yeah, Heidi Klum is jumping around in her undies, but whenever I see this I can't help but be annoyed that she isn't actually playing the game properly! (She's not even pressing the buttons!) Its like false advertising or something!

Anyways, had a dream last night that was a new one for me. So I dreamt I knocked up my first crush Gina (a pseudonym). Actually, that's not right, my first crush was a girl named Leah (not a pseudonym). But I hardly knew her. At least I went to school with Gina from K all the way to high school graduation, so I have a clearer image in my mind of her. But I digress. Anyways, so I got her preggers, but apparently I was being a prick because I wasn't being there for her. Well, I said I was going to be and that I was going to provide, but apparently dream me was too busy with other things. So I ended up meeting her at some diner with two of her friends, and it was an ambush (and not the cool kind, with guns where I'd have to save the day). Apparently some talk show host shows up all, "Why are you being a dick?" Which made me change my ways, so that i started taking a more active role in things.

So cut to me taking her to some concert or performance or something. Apparently dream me was a manager for some Oasis/Driveshaft type band, and she wanted to hang out with some old friend of hers in the audience. So I let her, since I wanted to speak with some record producer to have them hear my band's latest work. Yeah, their second album was a flop, but I assured the guy that this new stuff they came up was really good. But then all of a sudden, the theater/venue had to be evacuated, and I couldn't find Gina and I was really worried, and the producer was disgusted with me because he thought I had abandoned her to do business.

It was a weird dream, if only because I can usually psychoanalyze myself to figure out why I had a certain dream and what it means, or at least pick out what I had been watching/reading that may have influenced the dream. But this seems out of left field.

Step One

Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.


Step Two

Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it. Once a wish has been granted, it will be crossed off my list.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
