I just had my first burgasm
Oct. 1st, 2008 03:31 pmGot gas today, but alas, I didn't take into account that some places would be limiting how much you can get. But according to my calculations, that just means I'm good for a week rather than a week and a half. Thank goodness I use regular too. It seems to be more readily available. The place I went to limited you to $30 worth, but heh, at today's prices, if you could get premium, what's that, like 5 gallons?
TV commentary:
Heh, on 90210, reading the description for last night's ep, one of the things they mentioned was a film producer being interested in Annie and Adrianna. Of course, my immediate thought was it was going to be some skeezy guy trying to bed one or both of them. But they didn't go that route! Not that they didn't use that storyline in the ep, the skeezy guy trying to get with high schoolers was instead a "modelling agent" trying to get with Silver. Speaking of, is it me, or does she look a hundred times cuter on here than she did on Reaper as Sam's ex-gf Cady? At least from the neck up. I don't recall her being as skinny as she is (her arms freak me out at how thin they are) on Reaper. Someone give her a samich!
On House, the CotW totally freaked me out. Like how could you not feel something that big in your friggin' stomach?! Gross! Wouldn't you start getting any one of a number of diseases stemming from blockage? And no Cameron for the 2nd week in a row. cliffV('What's up with that?!') Why is she even in the credits? Or Chase, who only seems to show up to say a line whenever they need to do surgery.
Last night's Fringe felt very X-files-ish. I think the difference is though that Fringe is trying to be more overt with what's out there. I mean, there were some outrageous things on the X-files, but in terms of the big arcs, they seemed to hold back on what people like the Bounty Hunters or the Super Soldiers were capable of. Here, you have guys using the super-secret tech with reckless abandon, ostentatiously firing their high tech ray guns all over the place!
