So one of the entries on that 75 things a man must do list I posted about in my last entry was "make a list of 75 things to do before you die". As they said, 75 is actually hard when you sit down and try to list it. So, I figured I'd try for the less lofty goal of 25. And after an hour, here's what I came up with:

1) make a 1000 yard bullseye with a sniper rifle in high wind.

2) fire a machine gun out the door of a low flying helicopter.

3) personally restore a muscle car/trick out a rice-burner.

4) skydive.

5) rappel down the side of a tall building.

6) cook a big breakfast. Perhaps a tasty omelet, or french toast with various breakfast meat sides.

7) make the ultimate burger.

8) write at least one recap for TWoP that gets posted.

9) help two souls find happiness together. Preferably in a way that doesn't screw someone else over.

10) win a car race.

11) win a fighting game tournament.

12) have a threesome with a mad cute blonde snowflake and an asian hottie.

13) spend a week in Vegas living it up.

14) visit LA and have a several minute long conversation with a famous star.

15) do a hot famous chick.

16) take and complete a stunt driving course. Successfully drift.

17) take and complete a CQB shooting course covering pistol, smg, shotgun and assault rifle techniques. Run through a killhouse type set up.

18) successfully disarm a bomb.

19) rig something to blow and blow it up (on a testing ground!)

20) get at least EMT-B certified.

21) solve a real murder mystery.

22) do a musical. (As in a major singing part, not like a stagehand or background vocals)

23) fly a drone. get to shoot a missile at something.

24) fire a mini-gun. fire a fully automatic shotgun. fire a fully
automatic grenade launcher.

25) sing the song a bride and groom dance to at their wedding.

Some of those are doable. Others are about impossible outside of joining the military or getting some really good contacts. But more than a few do require a bit of time and cash.

I still say even kids born after 1985 should know that the year Marty Mcfly went back to in Back to the Future was 1955. ojv('Man, its obvious!') Its like only on TBS and TNT every other weekend!

Anyways, given it was gonna be my last chance to do trivia in a while because of shift change, and also because the roomie had to bail because of work, its no surprise we finally won something. As usual we were in 4th place going into the final round, but this time we got 2nd after the final question because two of the teams in front of us couldn't get the answer. It was rank these magazines in order of circulation from highest to lowest: Weight Watchers, Women's Day, Web MD (they have a magazine?!), and Watercolor something. I can see one getting tripped up and thinking its not going to be the obvious order one thinks it is, but put those magazines in the order you think they should be according to common sense, and you would be right.

Owel, I had set the DVR to record last night's late night showing of the American Mall on the N. Finally seeing the first half, the songs in that first half are better than the ones I saw when I caught the second half of the movie the other day. Although honestly, the only song I really liked off the soundtrack was "A Little Bit of Heart Somewhere". In any case, I think a lot of the songs ended up sounding overproduced, while the choreography was poor. So it almost seemed like amateur hour there.

I also finally finished up the "Immortal Iron Fist" compilation [livejournal.com profile] clevemire lent me. I've always found that portion of the Marvel Universe with Luke Cage and the Iron Fist pretty lame, but this set of stories actually managed to make Iron Fist seem pretty bad ass. Indeed, instead of seeming like some kinda kitschy martial arts gimmick, this Iron Fist was actually kinda cool.
