I don't think those were special brownies

Just saw the trailer for The Babysitters. You'd think a movie about a high school girl starting up a prostitution ring to make money to pay for college would be awesome, but this is kinda bleh. Mebbe if the actresses were hotter. And holy crap, is Jack Mccoy's daughter like a giantess or something?! And why the hell is the trailer red band? There's nothing in the trailer to warrant such a restriction! John Leguizamo is also in the movie, and it still baffles me to this day that a Publix cashier thought I was him.

Other entertainment gossip I've heard: Tobias Funke is dating Joan of Arcadia!? Isn't he old enough to be her dad? Obviously, David Cross has a variety of credits, but what else has Amber Tamblyn done besides Joan of Arcadia? And that show only lasted two seasons! I guess there's the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (and the sequel!) with Ugly Betty, Rory Gilmore, and Serena Van Der Woodsen. Though I guess for you Buffy fans, the one time they actually had the oft mentioned friend of Dawn, Janice, actually on screen, she was played by Amber. Speaking of Dawnie (and connecting the previous two sentences), my sources tell me Michelle Trachtenberg has an upcoming guest arc on Gossip Girl as a chick even wilder than Serena was back in the day.

Ah, and they just released a pic of Scarlett in the upcoming G.I.Joe movie. Not bad, though I find it silly that some people were complaining about the color scheme not being accurate, but if they're trying to go for some realism, they can't actually keep the color schemes of half the characters! Oh, and reading the comments on the various articles covering this, not too many people actually know anything about G.I.Joe. Or the Transformers when the movie was coming out. You're out of your element!

And what the frick is going on with this weather? Its like in the mid 70s right now, but I'm sure in a few days it'll be in the frickin' 30s like the other day!

One of my pet peeves/quirks is when you're exiting the highway on a ramp that's two lanes but merges into one, and some dickwad behind you is taking the exit at 90mph in order to overtake you, even though you're already doing 70. My urge (as more than a few of you have experienced) is to accelerate and try and keep the guy behind me, even though we're about to exit onto normal roads. Its not like I'm going slow, what's with trying to overtake me? I guess I shouldn't take it so personally.

Here's another unreasonable pet peeve of mine. Even though I'll talk about stupid and inane crap all the time, it does bug the hell out of me when I'm dismissed to my face. I mean, even though I put my nice face on and deal with everyone else's stupid and inane crap, kissing their frakkin' ass and acting all interested all the frakkin' time, other people aren't required to. If you don't want to listen to crap, shouldn't you be all, I don't want to listen to your crap, instead of standing there being overly polite and listening and acting like you care about something you don't? Mebbe if I did that more, I wouldn't feel like punching people who did that to me in the face.

I was thinking today about the variation of the six degrees of Kevin Bacon game where you try to see how many degrees of separation are between you and some famous person. Obviously, the correct way to do it is to figure out who you can use to connect to famous people, and go from there, rather than starting from the particular famous person and working back to you. Heh, despite the insane number of hours I've played SW2 and XL, I can still be an idiot. You know this whole time, I didn't realize there were special combos you could do on horseback?! I though there was just the square attack, and the triangle attack. I didn't realize there were ST, SST, and SSST combos! I would to be a fool. And I was playing as Gracia today, and I just realized, I could put her shield up first, then do her super beam attack, as the shield would protect her from getting hit out of doing the beam attack! I mean, its so obvious, yet I'm only now realizing it?! Its like, do I even know how to play this game?!
