Hilarious ep of HIMYM tonight. How does CBS not consider this show the best sitcom in their current line up? The show does have a lot of amusing extra content. I mean, when they made a whole video for Robin Sparkles' "Let's Go to the Mall", that was awesome, but TedMosbyisajerk.com is nicely done. Lots of callbacks to various eps throughout the run. And seriously, that song on the front page? 20 minutes long, that's hardcore! I think the highlight is around the thirteen minute mark where the chick talks about talking to her best friend, "Dr. Baltar" and calls Barney/Ted a "frakkin' toaster!" HA! Ah, I can't wait for there to be actual sex robots, so when someone lays with such a thing, I can call them a toaster frakker. But I digress. If Barney couldn't remember her name for the letter, how does he remember her name for the bracket? And the ep even had a sexy moment for all the Barney/Robin shippers. Do they have a portmanteau? Bobin? Rarney?

Weird, this ep of Without a Trace on right now has Hiro as a laundry delivery guy (I forget, is he like Jin on Lost and the accent is totally made up? I know Ando doesn't actually know Japanese) getting paid by Saffron from Firefly to drag her out of her apartment because she's agoraphobic.

Owel, started playing Mercenary mode in SW2:XL. Its interesting. You play random stages with random setups (which is a little less boring than the endless hallways of SW2's survival mode). You can hire other characters to fight alongside you as well. The good thing about it is you earn xp and can learn skills, get weapons, etc, just like you were playing a normal stage. You can even earn orbs! While normal stages, you can randomly get an orb once you beat it (and you still can here), but if one of the female characters shows up as a yellow reinforcement during the stage, you definitely get an orb from beating them. Anyways, I hear the mode is actually useful for leveling up.

I didn't mention anything at the time, because I didn't want to jinx it, but now it looks like I can talk about it. Anyways, the other day C-note mentioned wanting to visit the South Pony. Now, I'm too lazy to drive all the way there, but I hadn't been to such a place in a while, so Saturday night, I took a break from my SW2-ing to hit Mardi Gras. I mean, I heard good things about it, and I'd never been. I figured its as good a time as any to check it out. Now, last time I saw T, he mentioned he was dating one of the girls there. He had mentioned her name at Roaster's, but I couldn't remember it until that night, when I bumped into her.

I freaked her out a bit by pretending to be psychic, and as a demonstration of my abilities, told her she was dating a guy named T. Like I said, she freaked out at first, but then I told her I was friends with T, and she was all, "So you're the infamous Geebs? T's had a few crazy stories about you!" I was a little embarrassed at first, but what can you do? (And is it weird I'm shy around normal women, but I can talk to strippers?) She called over a friend, K, who was ridiculously mad cute and my type- small chested, blue-eyed brunette with a nice butt. She had fake glasses, but alas, she didn't have the school girl outfit on. Anyways, T's gf introduces me to her. Needless to say, I ask her for a lapdance. (And D wasn't around to steal her away, as he is often wont to do!)

It was nice. As the night wound down, I approached K. I told her even though she prolly has guys asking her out all the time, I would be an idiot and kicking myself about it for the next few weeks if I didn't at least try. She said I seemed very nice, but she didn't give her number out. She was willing to take my number though, which I put in her Chocolate phone. I figured she was just being nice and she'd delete it and I'd never hear from her again. But its funny how life surprises you.

So I'm listening to mp3s on the sk3 while putting up the tapes tonights. And I get a call. Its like 445, so I'm freaking out who would be calling me this late. I didn't recognize the number, but ever since 9/11 I'm insane with the number of scary scenarios of why someone would be calling that go through my head whenever I get an unexpected call. So I precariously answer it, and its K. She just finished her shift, and thought she'd give me a call since I had mentioned I'm up late because I'm on the night shift and it can get pretty boring at times. Obviously, I'm shocked and surprised, not knowing what to say. But after stammering through a conversation, I made plans with her this Wednesday night. I know what you're thinking, "Yeah right, where's the 'Okay, not really!'?" But this is totally serial, I can't believe it myself.

Of course, now I don't know what to do, I thought of a few places to take her to. Here's a list of places I'm thinking of, and their pros and cons. under the cut )
